Not Understood

You say this, I say that.

What is the meaning of words

if they don't mean anything to you?

When your meaning 

and my meaning

clash together, 

it will only create more trouble.

Is it hard to understand me?

Why is it that I feel

we speak a different language?

Explanations means nothing,

defending yourself is bad

what is then the solution to all these painful words?

Sometimes a simple word, 

a pat on the shoulder

can make a smile appear on my lips.

But when they're replaced with words

that creat deep wounds, it's hard to know

if I ever want a smile or a pat again.

Where do I seek comfort?

Where can I hide and cry my heart out?

Crystal tears formed by negative feelings.

Running away, going somewhere else

could help the way our relationship shatters

because we might treasure each other more

than we ever had done.
