Part Two

Liyin was lazing on the sofa with Beyonce (It’s her golden retriever dog) and playing on her phone while munching her apple.

“So… Have you found out who’s your Secret Admirer?” Stephanie squeezed her way onto the sofa by lifting Liyin’s leg up and placing it on her lap.

Liyin put her phone down and looked at her, “No… and the little notes and gifts keeps coming in. Do you think it’s a girl? You know, like my student?”

“Don’t be silly. No females will do that, well… unless she likes the same gender which is not quite common. I’m pretty sure it’s a dude.” Stephanie took a piece of apple from the plate on Liyin’s stomach.

“Hmm… You know, yesterday a packet of cotton candy came with a little note, it says ‘How was Heaven when you left it? Did you bring this sweetness with you?’.” Liyin said and waited for Stephanie to react.

Stephanie tried not to laugh and said, “Seriously?”

“And worst of all, I actually find it really cute and sweet.”

“Seriously Hyung, you have been really free nowadays huh? You always come visit me during my vocal class with Teacher Ri In!” Mark said, giggling.

“Well, at least I did. Xiumin doesn’t even come visit you nowadays. But I do!” Chen said, with eyes darting into the practice room.

“Who are you looking for?” Mark asked, curious, looking into the room to only see Liyin. “OHHHHHHH~!!! I Kn---$^$%%^%” Before Mark could continue, Chen covered his mouth and pulled him away.

Not until Chen managed to pull Mark into the stairways did he let go of Mark.

“What was that for?!” Mark asked, clueless.

“Oh my god, I hope she didn’t see me.” Chen mumbled, heart thumping against his chest.

“I see, so Hyung… You have a crush on her?” Mark flashed his most mischievous smile, “Does the other Hyungs know about it? Oh my god, I need to tell them!” He immediately dashed for the door and Chen pulled him back by the back of his collar.

“Where do you think you are going? And I do not have a crush on her.” Chen said. Mark looked at him with a ‘You-seriously-want-me-to-believe-you’ expression.

“What do you know! You’re only 14 this year!”

And still, Mark’s expression didn’t change.

“Fine. I will buy you dinner for a week. This is between you and me. Get it?” Chen sighed. “Make it two weeks.”

“Fine. Deal?”

“Deal!”

“Okay now, get going. I will see you later.” Chen said. Mark gave Chen a pat on his shoulder, threw him a grin and head down the stairs, “Yay! Free dinner for 2 weeks!!!”

Chen sighed and stepped out of the stairways, bumping into someone.

“Oh, it’s you, Chen! I thought who it was when I heard noises coming from the stairways.” A familiar voice rang in his ears. ‘Oh no….’ Chen thought to himself and tries to calm his racing heart.

“Hi Ri In sunbaenim.” He greeted, and flashed his best smile. “Sorry for bumping into you, I hope I didn’t hurt you.”

“No, it’s okay! Are you okay? Your ears are red...” She asked, concerned.

“I’m good, I’m perfectly fine! I will get going, have to go back to practice! You know how Kai is really particular about dance and I’m not very good at it-” Chen continued to blabber, ‘Oh my god, what the hell did I just say? I’m not very good at dance? Why do I have to embarrass myself infront of her. Oh god. You’re the stupidest kid.’ He thought to himself.

“So I better get going! See you around, Ri In Sunbae!” He quickly bowed, smiled and walked away as fast as he could.

Ri In just chuckled, “Hwaiting…” She said softly after him.

“So, what do you want to eat?” Chen asked.

Mark looked excitingly at the menu. He chose the right place, ‘Look at all this delicious donkatsu! I want to have them all!!’ His eyes beamed. Due to EXO’s busy schedule, they were not able to meet up often for his dinner privilege. This is his 7^th dinner voucher. He has another 7 more vouchers to use.

After placing their orders, Mark looked at Chen and asked, “How was SMTown concert at Beijing?” Again, with the mischievous smile.

“Hmmm, not bad. There were many fans and it was fun.”

“Including making a move on Teacher Ri In? ^^” He smiled and flashed a photo he found on the internet.

Chen’s ears went red, and he tried to explain, “No. Lay pushed me forward! It wasn’t on purpose!”, and he rambled on, “Hey! Why are you questioning your Hyung!! Why did I even bother explaining myself to you!”

SMTOWN Beijing 2013; Backstage

EXO and Liyin were preparing for their turn to go on stage, while waiting, Liyin was hanging out with the Chinese members. Chen, even though can’t speak, he tried his best to listen and understand.

From the corner of the room with Xiumin, he slowly edged towards the sofa, always glancing at the other 4 boys and Liyin, and whenever Liyin smiles at any of them, he hopes he’s the one she’s smiling to, he’d die to be in their position. Just when he finally got to stand beside Lay who is just beside Liyin, a staff came in and requested to take a photo of EXO and Liyin together.

He doesn’t know how it happened, the boys gathered, he stood beside Lay, and the next moment, he was beside Liyin, her shoulder brushing against his chest.

He thought he was about to die from holding his breathe.

And the photo was taken…

With Chen looking stiff and awkward…
