Neverland
Description
My mom gave me this weird story book as a present when I turned five years old. She hasn’t told me anything unusual in this stuff. This was quite old, and isn’t fancy for a five-year-old kid like me to read on, so my older brother kept it for me. It’s quite odd remembering that the last time I saw him is when he offered himself to keep the book. That was the night after my fifth birthday. After that day, he vanished. No one could explain how it happened. My memories however were obscure and uncertain. My young mind could not recall anything on him. His face and physical appearance became oblivion on me. After all, I miss him.
Thirteen years have passed, and for once, I entered my brother’s old room and started to search for this book which was hidden in a chest somewhere here. Things however became complicated upon looking for it. Kevin came out of the book and became my worst nightmare. His features were perfect within my standards, and I couldn’t deny the fact that I fell in love with him. But he can’t love me back. He has his own world, and so am I.
“Goodbye, Kevin. Search for your true love.”
Foreword
For one more moment, I could her lips again. I was given time but I wasted it. I denied the fact that I already loved her, and now, I’m losing her. I have to go back inside the book, I am not real anyway. But for once, I have enjoyed living in this-so-called human world. “Goodbye too, Alex.” And for the very last time, I pressed my lips into her moist one, hugged her tight and turned back into ashes.
So, Here's what I imagine of Kevin on the storybook, Some kind of a mythical person.
