Note: Somewhere in the ‘Cold Nights and Warm Beds’ universe, set shortly after Alone in the Rain. I think this might be one of the longest one-shots I've written in a while, but I have no clue where this even came from really.
I hadn't planned on writing more angst in this Universe, because it was initially meant to be just a bunch of awkward, give and take fluff. But some people had requested/asked for some angst - so here's more. Also this is the direct result of mixing: two days without sleep, over a half a dozen cups of coffee, late nights at work, and attempting to write the longest paper of my academic career to date… I’m not even sure what this is, but it is more angst than anything... you've been warned.
Proofing was attempting - but I'm not even 50% confident in it. But enjoy anyways? And comment! Ideads for this Universe are, as always, appreciated!
