Luhan and his best friend Zhang Yixing were abandoned by their parents when Luhan was 15 and Yixing was 13. A drought had reached their city and without notice both Luhan's and Yixing's parents vanished leaving the two boys on their own while they struggled to survive in the drought. 5 years later and the drought is still ongoing. The city of Exoria is in ruins. The city officials had ran off as soon as the drought began. The rich quickly grabbed their money and belongings and fled the city. Everyone else had to stay. Why? Simple, because Exoria is the only city within 400 miles and in order to leave the city people would need a hover car and most people could not afford those. Outside the city gates lie a vast terrain of desert and no one dares to spend a night out there. 

This is the story of Luhan and Zhang Yixing and their struggle to survive.
