In the Distance'Thankyou so much for your time,' Shin said as he exited the room with unaccepted resume in hand. He had been explaining his reasons for finding a job to the employer when it had occurred to him how risky it was to find a permanent job in London, so far away from his home, without talking to Gyu Won about it. Did she like London? DId she want to stay in Korea? What about all the family back home? And the question that had been lingering in Shin's mind since the night Samantha had turned up - Would Gyu Won want to marry him?
The cityscape stretched out in front of Lee Shin and he watched as people walked on the streets, pulling suitcases behind them.
There was only one way to find out.
Back in his room, Shin pulled out his own suitcase. As he was folding his clothes, he saw his striped cardigan still lying on the bed. Placing it aside, he continued to pack until he was ready at the London Airport an hour later.
A girl nearby was staring at a bear in her hand and when Shin read the letters on it, he pinched himself. He may have been ready to leave London but he was not ready for this surprise.
Message from author:
My hiatus has ended early so I'm back today with a very short chapter. Will probably have another up in a few hours or maybe tomorrow because this one was so short.
Thanks for being patient and I hope you like the chapter!
