Fragment of a Blade

Description

It’s a world where blood spilled. Roar and cry echo, piercing in the night sky. And home, is a lost sanctuary. The only place to hide is the numbness inside the heart. Feeling nothing when there should be something. However, that’s what Kai feels, when he takes his sword from the ground, orange sky on top of his head, warm sunshine on his back.

Strong scent similar to copper surrounds him. But, he says nothing. Just watch where he step between the fallen bodies, and continue to walk. Feeling nothing as he do so, just numbness, darkness, nothing. Until that day comes again.

This story is an entry for give me a year. ¦ » A Writing Contest, with the gif above as the prompt I used. First of all, I wanted to thank my sunbae, Pikrachu for telling me about this contest. And my lovely hobae, LimSooMie who resurects the early draft of this story from my Recycle Bin. Of course I need to thank the contest admins too, for giving me a chance to finish this!

I know this story has a lot of flaws and errors, but I hope 'Fragment of  Blade' could be an enjoyable read for you!
