This story starts with the birth of Choi Kyung Soon nicknamed Sunee (pronounced Sunny)(meaning honoured and gentle) to a middle class family. But one day Choi Sunee gets thrown out of a window and into the arms of a stranger by her jealous older sister. This stranger takes Sunee in as his own and cares for her like his own daughter. But he too being no more than a sweet shop owner cannot provide her anything more than anyone else. As Sunee grows, she turns into a beautiful kind woman (she's 17 BTW). But her life turns around when she gets chosen to participate in a gameshow called "This Means War" with her 2 best friends, older sister and a boyband she's never heard of before called Shinee. As the game unfolds, she falls in love, gets torn to pieces, makes new friends and mends a broken heart.
