Madness, she calls it. It is madness to be out in this cold weather. But unfortunately she can't afford to miss more classes. Necessity has her picking herself up and shuffling her feet towards the academic block her classes are held in.

On the way she passes by the music department's block. She is taking the shortcut even though she has time.

Her feet stop of their own accord. She spots a boy. No, a young man, with a guitar. He passes by her greeting her with a dimple smile.

She remembers to smile back only to realise he is long gone. The thought only adds to her cold misery. So she shakes her head and walks ahead.

Sometimes the first sight is just a passing glance.
