“I don’t know what to do anymore Chun, I’m desperate! You have to help me!” Yunho said as he ruffled his hair in frustration.  

 

The first time he saw Jaejoong was a year ago when he was walking his dog in the park. The most beautiful person his eyes had ever laid upon on was leaning at a tree, peacefully reading his book. 

 

He doesn’t know how long he had been staring but he’s sure that it’s not only seconds or minutes because when he regained his consciousness, the angelic guy is walking towards to him. 

 

Oh no, what to do… what to do...

 

“Hi, I’m Kim Jaejoong. I just moved here yesterday.”  He said as he offered his hand to his handsome and adorable newfound crush. 

 

Take his hand, come on, Jung take his hand!

 

But Jaejoong was left watching as the sprinting Yunho ran for his life. 

 

The next time he saw him was on his first day at the university. He was the representative of their batch and as he was about to declaim his speech, he saw Jaejoong again, smiling as their eyes met. 

 

Yunho had always been confident when it comes to delivering speeches. He’s used to it because he’s always the top in his class. That’s why, the people who knew him were very surprised to his 1-sentence-or-15-words welcome remarks. 

 

“Congratulations to us in passing the number one university in Korea, have a good day.”

 

Then for the second time while Jaejoong was around, he ran for his life.

“I don’t know what to do anymore Chun, I’m desperate! You have to help me!”

 

“How can I help you dude? You ran away from him as soon as you see his face. You even ran away even if he’s in a ten-meter radius away from you!” He shook his head as he watched Yunho in pity. It’s the first time he saw him act this way. Before his friend met Jaejoong, he received a lot of confessions from different kinds of people, and he nonchalantly rejected them all. But now, he can’t even approach the first person that he likes without looking like an idiot.  

 

And then an idea struck him. A brilliant strategy that will explain all of Yunho’s actions. A plan he calls “Unagi”.

 

“Okay, master Yoochun will help you.” He said as he crossed his arms and walk around Yunho in circles.

 

“Master Yoochun?” Yunho raised his brows and suspiciously looked at him. 

 

“Do you want to make Jaejoong yours or not?”

 

“I don’t plan on making him mine, I just wanted to be his friend! I mean he can be my boyfriend if he wants to after he gets to know me but…”

 

“Do you want to or not?!” Yoochun literally screamed making Yunho slightly taken aback.

 

“Say ‘of course I want to, Master Yoochun’.”

 

“What?” Yunho can’t believe what he is hearing.

 

“Say it!”

 

“Of course I want to, Master Yoochun! Please use your greatness to help me.” Yunho desperately shouted.

 

“That’s more I like it. Now, we will call this plan “Unagi”.” Yoochun proudly said.

 

“Unagi? Isn’t that a kind of a sushi?” Yunho said as he tried to recall where he heard that word.

 

“You’re right. Unagi is a special kind of sushi. Because our plan will make you very special in Jaejoong’s eyes.”

“Are you going to tell me now what your plan is?” 

 

“Just watch and learn, dude. And remember, when I call you, you need to come immediately all right?” 

 

They are currently sitting at one of Jaejoong’s favorite hang out place, Café Cassiopeia.

 

“Are you sure that you can explain to him why I ran everytime I see him without making him feel offended?” Yunho said looking very nervous. One wrong move from Yoochun and he can say goodbye to being close to his 1-year-long crush.

 

“Leave it to me...oh here he comes.”

 

Yunho felt like his nervousness tripled. He watched as Yoochun stood up from his seat and approach the reason to all of his frustrations. 

 

His heart skipped a beat when his eyes turned at Jaejoong. The gorgeous guy is wearing a simple V-neck shirt paired with super tight skinny jeans. That outfit will look simple in a simple person but when Jaejoong is the one wearing it, it looks like it came out of a fashion magazine. 

 

“Hi, my name is Park Yoochun.” Yoochun offered his hand to the stunning beauty in front of him.

 

“I know you Park, and I’m guessing that you already know me right?” Jaejoong said as he shook his hand.

 

“Of course I do, Kim Jaejoong. Listen, can I talk to you for a minute? It concerns my friend over there.” He said as he pointed at Yunho who is currently pretending to read a book and is doing a very bad job at it.

 

“Oh, Yunho-ssi? Actually, I wanted to approach him and talk to him and ask him what I did wrong, but every time—”

 

“No, no, no, Jae! You’re misunderstanding something. Yunho doesn’t hate you.” 

 

“He doesn’t? But why does he—”

 

“I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this, but it’s because he is special.” Yoochun said as he buried his face into his hands and pretended to cry.

 

“What did you say?” Jaejoong offered the crying man a tissue.

 

“He is a special child. That’s why he finds it difficult to interact with other people.” Yoochun accepted the napkin and pretended to wipe his tears and sneeze.

 

“Oh my God, I can’t believe this…he doesn’t look like one at all!” Jaejoong said as he looked at Yunho in pity.

 

“That’s because he wants normal people to accept him. He’s been bullied by others all of his life.”

 

Meanwhile, Yunho is very uncomfortable watching those two interact. He doesn’t know why Yoochun is crying and why Jaejoong is looking at him. He took out his phone and texted the crying idiot.

 

What is going on? Why the hell are you crying like a baby?!

 

“…and then when his mom said go brush your teeth, when they went to the bathroom to check up on him, they saw him brushing his !” Yoochun said as he wept and accepted Jaejoong’s comforting hug.

 

Jaejoong is not listening to Yoochun anymore. He just hugged and comforted the poor crying guy. He can’t believe that Yunho is not normal. He wants to ran to Yunho and hug his 1-year-long crush and take away all of his pain and suffering. 

 

After crying for almost 10 minutes, Yoochun recovered and thanked Jaejoong for his kindness. He saw Jaejoong’s concerned look towards Yunho and almost felt guilty of what he’s doing.

 

Almost.

 

“And then he fell in love with you.”

 

“Excuse me?”

 

“He confessed to me, he said that he’s in love with you. But he cannot be with you because of his condition.”

 

“Oh my God, this is really heartbreaking!” Now it looks like it’s Jaejoong’s turn to cry.

 

“No, Jae! Don’t cry. You can help Yunho to be happy. You’re the only one who can make him happy.” Yoochun said as he stared at the unfortunate guy’s teary eyes.

 

“How can I do that?” Jaejoong sadly looked at Yunho. 

 

“Ask him to be your boyfriend.”
