“I’m sorry but it’s already sold out as well.” The lady at the counter said to the pair.

Hyunjee and Kris were currently choosing the movies to watch. And there was this new action movie Kris had wanted to watch, but unfortunately it had already sold out. And it left Paranormal Activity and this unknown horror movie to choose.

“Well then I guess we’ll have to choose Paranormal Activity,” Kris said glancing at her who suddenly stiffened, “Is it okay with you?” he asked.

Not wanting to be seen as a coward, she nodded hesitantly and forced herself to smile at him.

“It’s okay if you don’t want to, really,” he said, worried that she’d be scared.

“No, it’s okay, I want to,” she said and gave him her reassuring smile.

“If you said so,” he smiled back and picked the seats in the middle row, with her approval.

He quickly gave some bills after the lady announced the total price before Hyunjee could even open her purse, “Yah! I’m paying!” she yelled and made a face.

“Nah ah, you’re too slow,” he stuck out his tongue and reached for the change and the tickets.

“Popcorns on me then!” she said and stuck her tongue back at him.

“Okay… if you reach the snack corner before I do,” and with that, he sprinted there leaving the dumbfounded girl.

“Yah!! I wasn’t ready!” he could hear her shout while she made her way to the tall guy. She was hopeless, her short legs didn’t help her either. Well, short compared to Kris.

She finally caught up with the guy but unluckily, he already ordered two popcorns. ‘He remembered?’ she thought as soon as her eyes landed to a lemon tea. She had told him her favorite beverage at the Japanese restaurant earlier.

But before she could grab the cup, he already did it leaving a cup of coke on the counter table. “Y-yah,” she tried to snatch it from him.

“What? It’s mine,” he simply replied leaving the girl jaw dropped.

She hesitantly grabbed the coke and went to catch up with the long legged giant who was now sitting on one of the chairs. ‘I still can’t believe how this guy could be extremely fast,’ she thought. She then felt thirsty all of a sudden and decided to drink the coke.

“Yah, I was just kidding. I know you don’t like coke,” he said snatching the coke after two gulps and handed her the lemon tea.

“Aish, this guy,” she muttered, feeling annoyed.

Seeing her annoyed face amused him, and he couldn’t help but chuckled silently while he drank the coke not realizing the “Indirect kiss” he just did. But apparently Hyunjee did notice. Her eyes grew bigger, “Y-yah,” She called.

“What?” he snapped after gulping.

She wanted to explain the matter but on second thought, since he didn’t notice, she just going to keep it to herself, not wanting to be embarrassed, “Nothing,” she replied.

Soon after, they already found themselves inside the dark theatre. Luckily for them, the movie was not available in 3D.

After settling themselves on their seats, the lights were all turned off and the room turned completely dark. And not long after, the movie had begun.

He glanced worriedly at his phone every now and then, afraid of getting caught by his friends. But all of the thought vanished in an instant as he glanced at the girl next to him.

The lights from the screen illuminated her pretty face. Her features could be seen clearly and he studied it. He didn’t care about the movie that was playing before him and focused at the girl. Every time little shrieks escaped her lips, he has this sudden urge to calm her down by putting his arm around her and reassure her, but he had to hold it. Not yet, not now. He would definitely scare the girl away, or so he thought.

“AAAAAAHH!”

Someone from the back screamed just when the ghost made an appearance. The scream was so loud that the pair, or probably the entire theatre, heard it clearly. It sounded like a girl but Kris was sure that the scream was awfully familiar.

He wanted to look back but he didn’t because he heard a little shriek from the girl next to him who was covering . And he couldn’t help but to let out a gasp as he saw the ghost on the screen. He nearly got a heart attack, which was nowhere near cool.

‘I won’t watch this movie ever again’ He thought.

A short update~ but it’s better than nothing, hm? I actually haven’t watched the movie yet, sooo… I don’t know if there were any ghosts which made a sudden appearance._. Correct me if I made some mistakes.
