"I can't help being rubbish at maths Kyu!"

"Maybe if you tried a little harder, you wouldn't be failing!"

Eunhyuk wiped the tears from his eyes. "I can't try any harder.. I'm too tired..." He dropped to the floor and sat hunched over, his body trembling. "I can't do it all Kyu.."

The younger boy put his arms around him, and the soft brown hair. "I'm sorry for shouting Hyukkie, I'll help you with maths. Come on, we're almost done with the sheet. Then we can go to bed." His voice was gentle, they were all under strain and had so much to do. Eunhyuk wasn't the first to crack, gentle Ryeowook had collapsed from exhaustion yesterday and still tried to do his homework. Hyuk had so much work to do, with learning the routines and dance solos. Kyu knew that the boy stayed up late at night worrying about the hate he might recieve once they debuted.

 

Helping the boy to the desk, he wiped the tears away and gently talked through the problems again, trying his best not to get frustrated.

"Do I times it by 4?"

"No, you divide it by 3.." Kyu held in his sighs, watching the older boy's lip tremble. "It's okay, you'll understand it soon."

When the last question was finished, Hyuk hugged Kyu tightly before thanking him.

"Kyu, thank you for helping me, and for not shouting.."

"It's okay, I need you to help with my dancing."

Eunhyuk held him close. "Please sleep with me Kyu."

 

As the boys got into bed together, Hyuk immediately put his arms around Kyuhyun, embracing him warmly.

"Kyu, do you worry about debuting?..."

"Sometimes. Why?"

"I worry lots.. What if the fans don't like me? What if this has all been for nothing? What if they don't like my looks? I could be hated..."

Kyuhyun pulled him close. "You won't be hated. You're talented and sweet, you have such a gentle personality. And we're only teasing about your looks, you're handsome Hyuk, you should have more self-confidence." He Eunhyuk's hair, feeling the tears flow yet again as the crybaby of the group cuddled into him.

"I love you Kyu."

"I love you too Hyukkie. We all do. Please don't worry alone, let us look after you. There's no need to worry and cry, we're here for you."

Eunhyuk hugged Kyu tightly, and gave him a small kiss.

"Thank you."

He felt his worries disappear as he felt the younger give him a kiss back. Now he wouldn't have to worry about being alone.
