Counting Sheep

Description

"Jina-yah, Stay alive." These were his last words. Before he closed his eyes--forever.

Kwon Jina is your typical hot-blooded 17 year old teenager. She loves anything cute, hot guys, and romantic dramas with a lot of comedy. She dreams about her future husband and plans what she wants to do with her kids, a girl with an older brother.

Although, she doesn’t have your typical experience growing up. Her sweet childhood ended 10 years ago, when she was barely 7 years old. Ironically, Mr. Lung Cancer ended up murdering her father, even though he was a pediatrician (a children’s doctor). He was a just man who values life and wishes to help anyone in need, perfect for her lovely mother, who is an innocent and pure florist.

Jina’s father’s motto was to stay alive, safe and sound. She kept this in her heart dearly, as they were the last words out of his mouth. But, when a super hot guy named Kris puts her heart in the red, will he be able to protect her until the end of time? Or will the best friend she never met reveal his uttermost secret, changing the way her heart flutters?

Foreword

I remember our first meeting. I thought, is this what one calls fate?

---- 4 months ago, during a vacation to Canada that you won for nail art competition ----

“HELP ME~ HELP MEEE~” you shouted in korean, repeating the lines of a drama you were watching.

You were showering at the time, because… well, what gets better than acting while bathing, right?

It just so happened that Kris, the y towel boy who worked part-time at the hotel, walked by your room right when you screamed for help.

He ran and unlocked the door of your room with his master key.

Your cries came from the bathroom so thats where he ran.

He opened the door and was met with you, with a tablet in one hand in no trouble what so ever.

“Ba-a-a-a-a” goes the sound of a sheep in the drama you were watching, increasing the level of awkwardness.

When firmly aware of the situation, both of your eyes widen and you cover yourself with the curtain while his hands go automatically to his eyes.

You, an innocent one, can’t help but cuss and scream, “GET OUT OF HERE YOU ING ERT.”

Kris tries to explain, “I- uhm- heard you scream for help, okay!?”

You scoff at him in disgust and threaten to kill him if he doesn’t leave right away.

But you still thought, “But dang...he’s some spicy stuff.
