There was no hope, we all knew it. I wanted to cry, but I forced myself not to due to lack of water in my body. My tounge was dry, my eyes were burning. These were my last moments. I was gonna die alone and scared with no hope and no one to save me. I was going to go where people fo when they die: the ground and hope to mercy that I would be taken somewhere else. My ankle seemed to be broken, but I could hear them around me. I couldn't run, I couldn't hide. Tears began to run down my face. Pathetic. That's all I could do? Cry and die? I swear I was two seconds away from death, but then I heard gunshots. The sounds woke me from death and my eyes jolted open and revealed my surroundings. Allyway. I was in an allyway, awaiting my death, laying on the earth.  

"Is there anyone out here?"

I tried to yell, but my vocal cords failed to work. Only faint weezing. I tried to cough, but that also failed. I began to cry like the patheic child I am again as I slowly slipped back into death. Despite the hope I had, it was over. Everything was over. My eyes became blurry and all that I saw was the face of death telling me to forget the world and stay with him forever.
