[Prologue]
Midnight Embrace [HIATUS]
Year 1953 - the end of the Korean war.
Thousands - if not millions - dead soldiers.
Destroyed cities, crying children.
Hopeless women praying for their men to be alive,
to come back home healthy.
Regarding the split Korea none believed in a reunion.
It seems impossible and the important thing to do now
was taking care of the wounded soldiers,
the lost children,
the widows, widowers.
Countless women have been ,
their men have been forced to watch
- the war was something you'll never forget.
The cries of pain, the image of falling soldiers,
everything was just too cruel.
Among the injured soldiers were two brothers, Yunho and Changmin.
The latter was being held by his older brother; tears were shed.
"You're NOT going to die. Not yet. Not when we survived the war.
Please, Changmin. Hang in!"
Yunho begged and cried harder as Changmins eyes didn't open again.
Being wounded as well Yunho became tired fighting against the darkness ...
Just as Yunho thought his brother would die, a young man kneeled beside him.
"Willing to give up both of your souls to stay alive?"
"Yes," Yunho answered without hesitating.
