 Little Ravi's grip on his mother's hand tightens as he was met with five curious eyes when he first entered the kindergarten. A tall young-looking woman gazed down at him and smiled before gesturing him to be comfortable with the rest. Little Ravi looked up at his mother, eyes pleading at her to not let him stay here but his mother just smiled and loosen her grip as she slowly walk away, waving at her son one last time before disappearing.

 

   And little Ravi stood alone, eyes down as he avoided everyone's gaze. With his little fingers fidgeting cutely, he shyly met with everyone's stare before looking at his shoes again, too shy to say anything. The silence was a comfortable one, but awkward too, teacher Juniel thought as she kindly interrupted the silence.

 

  "Ok kids, today we have a new friend - "

 

  " What do you call a deer with no eyes?"

 

   A brown-haired boy with a big nose cheerfully interrupted the teacher, who sighed and gestured little Ravi to try answering the question. Little Ravi furrowed his eyebrows cutely as he think, not getting that the question was a joke. After thinking for a long time, he didn't know the answer and gave up. With a small voice, he shyly replied,

 

  "I-I don't know..."

 

   The brown-haired boy grinned mischievously, ignoring the others' bored sigh, and told him the answer with a big smile before bursting out in laughter,

 

  "No-eye deer! (No idea)"

 

   Little Ravi groaned silently at the realization that it was a lame joke and looked up in amusement as he watched the teacher face palming herself and shaking her head. With a soft sigh, the teacher said,

 

  "Nice one, Ken, now let our new friend introduce himself, shall we?"

 

   Little Ravi's classmates nodded their heads eagerly as they waited for their new classmate to speak and introduce himself to them. Little Ravi got all shy at his audience and looked down before taking a deep breath and with a small voice, he spoke,

 

  "M-my name is Ravi and I like to sleep."

 

   Everyone clapped at little Ravi's introduction. Teacher Juniel clapped along and invite little Ravi along to sit with the rest of his classmates. Little Ravi stumbled along as the teacher was walking a bit too fast for his liking. He shyly sat next to a red-haired boy and a pretty-looking boy. The red-haired boy grinned at him and introduced himself.

 

  "Hello! Moi name is Hakyeon!"

 

   Little Ravi looked at him shyly and smiled in acknowledgement. Before he knew it, little Hakyeon started to cling onto him, showering him with an overdose of skinship and affections like  pampering him with kisses and hugs. At first, little Ravi was okay with it but soon, he found it a bit annoying.

 

  "Ok kids, find a partner and sit down at a table!"

 

  "Rabi-ah! Rabi~"

 

   Little Hakyeon singsonged as he gripped little Ravi's arms and put his head on little Ravi' shoulders. Teacher Juniel cooed at the cute couple as she led them to a table to do their handicraft today. Little Ravi sighed, and make no objections. He was quite tired with little Hakyeon's ways of affections, as he was quite not used to it. Teacher Juniel heard little Ravi's sigh and quietly nodded her head before calling out to little Hakyeon to meet her at her desk.
