Description
Ye Jin grew up as a quiet, strong girl - moulding herself to become an independent, successful lady. Her childhood had been less than rosy - she had been bullied back in Junior School, and her parents had died in an accident when she was a teen. But she was different now. The second half of her life had turned out exactly the way she had planned for it to be.
Or did it?
Ye Jin finds herself having to invite someone back into her life she had never expected she would have to - Kai, her childhood friend and first love. Kai has changed as much as she has but her feelings still remain the same.
Despite how much both have moulded themselves to become ... they seem to come undone with each other, and everything returns to ground zero.

It had always been like that with Kai, even back when they were still kids. Ye Jin had always possessed considerableconcentration and focus, but with
Kai, all of that came undone. No matter how cool and detached Ye Jin made herself to be, she never seemed to be able to do the same with Kai. It was as if Kai exposed Ye Jin vulnerability and was a reminder of the past she would rather forget. No, Kai did not expose Ye Jin’s vulnerability, he was
her vulnerability. He seemed to be the only person who could still make her feel like the lost, timid and inferior girl she once was…
Maybe it was the familiarity, or something else, but Kai felt so at home with Ye Jin. It was as if Ye Jin could see through the whole charming and cool
façade Kai had put on and he didn’t need to try to be anyone else but himself around her – because she already knew the real him and he didn’t need to try to
gain her acceptance or admiration.
