I find that many recommendation threads boast that they are compilations of well-written, engaging, and unique fics. You may be able to find those here but I’m the kind of person that would love a fic even if it doesn’t check all the boxes. I will love a fic even if it’s got a thousand mistakes, is completely cliche, and contains frequently used tropes.

This thread contains stories that I personally love, without much regard for authors and stories that are well known on the site. I have been on AFF long enough to see the cycles of “popularity” come and go. None of it means much so I’m not going to give it weight to what I consider good or bad.

 What I Prefer to Read

Pairings: I am comfortable reading OC/idol and idol/idol. As for ualities, I will read anything that includes boy/girl, boy/boy, girl/girl

Genres: Favorites include fantasy, supernatural, angst, and action.

Tropes: Werewolves, Vampires, Arranged Marriage, Soulmates, Angels and Demons, CEO/Business

Groups: Mainly EXO. I like to read fics of other groups every now and then. I know more 2nd generation groups than the ones promoting now but I am open to reading any group.

Rated: I will read fics of any rating. I don’t care if there’s violence, or foul language. I will still read it.

Restrictions: Age Differences, , Horror

Requirements for Sending me Recommendations

I encourage you to recommend fics to me. Don’t feel shy or embarrassed about spreading the love, especially if it’s one of your own. I always pop in to rec lists and feel like it’s too pretentious to submit a link for something I wrote. I don’t want that to happen here.

If you would like to recommend something to me I would appreciate it if you include the link in your comment as well as a few brief sentences to explain why you like it.

Note the Restrictions in the section above. I will not read fics that include those themes.
