Patient: Kim, Taeyeon
Taeyeon has been making some progress recently. However, there are moments where her anger overcomes and causes her to feel a sense of hopelessness. After many sessions with my patient, I believe that Taeyeon is not a problem child.
She fears the anxiety and fits of rage the most. Taeyeon is afraid that her behavior and uncontrollable emotions will end in the loss of those close to her, similarly to the situation with her father. Taeyeon has the tendency to blame herself and harbor a great sense of despair over events she cannot control.
Furthermore, I have removed Taeyeon's prescription as they are no longer necessary. I have asked Taeyeon to keep track of her emotions in a journal to aid her in identifying and assessing her changes in emotion and outlook on life. This should in turn correct any odd behavior.
Upon examination of said journal, I see that Taeyeon has subconsciously formed her own means of help. There are other students she mentions there that she expresses her thoughts to or that give her sound advice. Part of a change in behavior takes place in a change of surroundings. Now that Taeyeon has made acquaintances with those who are doing well, she too, will be well.
I have noticed that Taeyeon seems to have a particular liking to one student in particular and has appeared to have developed romantic feelings toward this student. I believe this relationship to beneficial to my patient because it provides relief fo
