Jessica layed there, remembering the promise she made to Taeyeon.

"Jessica, can you do me a favor?" Taeyeon put a hand down on the table they sat at in the middle of the cafe, making a serious face.

"What is that?" The latter raised an eyebrow, setting down the coffee she had been sipping.

"I know those guys are after me, and if something happens... Just get Tiffany and get out of this city."

"But-" Jessica wanted to protest but was cut off.

"Look, I'll never be able to forgive myself if something happens to her. I never ask you for anything and I just want you to promise me this one thing." Taeyeon practically pleaded now.

After the silence of Jessica's comtemplation, Taeyeon spoke again.

"I can only trust you now, it can only be you."

"Alright, I'll do it. I will protect her with my life"

Taeyeon let out a deep breath, and looked up at the ceiling. "I can finally breathe out now." Taeyeon smiled a little, then stood.

"Thanks, Jess. I'll see you later, ok?" Taeyeon said slowly and quickly disappeared out of the cafe.

That was the last time she ever saw Taeyeon.

A/N:

So... I didn't want to make it gender bender, but try to see the each person as the character they play regardless of their actual gender. Also, this is why I refer to some characters as male in first person, but I refer to them all as females in third person.
