I stood there looking at her, she was there happily laughing, she looked as if she had no worries. She was happy. I was at a corner, trying to get a glimpse of her secretly. As I was staring at her the song played once again, at that moment listening to the song. It was as if it manage to translate the feelings that I had within into lyrics of a song that I was now listening to. The feels of the song manage to made my eyes teary once again and it never fails to do so. The simple melody and its sad and meaningful lyrics just matched up so well.

 

As I brought my head up to look at the girl that manage to capture my heart, the song plays from the start once again.

Just smile. Don't worry about me. Even if it wasn't true and you didn't even think of me, just let me live in this lie. At least it keeps my heart warm, and let me live in this imagination of mine that tells me that you cared for me too. Just smile and be happy for I'll never forget you even if I wanted to.

I'll be happy as long as you were. The love we once had, the past was the only thing that still keeps me going no matter how hurt I was. Whenever I miss you, the memories and moments we once had will be the only thing that keeps me happy and contented so don't worry about me.

My heart will always belong to you. As long as my heart still beats, it means that you still manage to hold a place in my heart. In the past when we were together, there were times where I've resented you. Resented you because you did not bother to put in effort to save this relationship when we had problems, you choose to run away. While I struggled to keep this memory we had. It was only me. But I recalled the times where you showered me with love, it made me abandon the resentment I had for you. Because it was you. You were just so capable of making my heart flutter and making me forget all those negative feelings, you were able to make me go crazy for your love, because it's you.

My heart is only for you, you were the only one that is able to mend this broken heart. Seeing you happy was the greatest relief for me now. But that eyes of yours still breaks my heart for seeing you would always pain my heart because you looked at me with those eyes when you left, you left me as if I was so unimportant and as if there was nothing in me that could make you stay. Do you know how much looking at you right in the eyes hurts for me? Although it meant nothing for you.

As much asI love to embrace you, I too hoped that we would ignore each other and treat each other like strangers on the road for seeing you was like opening up the wound because of how you treated me, seeing you too much just brings me too much pain. But still i would like to see you everyday because I miss you every singe day. Just a glimpse, a glimpse will do, it wont bring too much pain for me, but at least it was able to bring me endless amount of happiness because the love was just simply so strong that a second of your face had so much effect on me than seeing you for too long that only leaves me with a broken heart.

The music ended, even without a mirror I knew that my eyes were puffy and red. I could still feel the tears rolling down my cheeks, it was sad for it was finally time for me to let her go. I brought my head up to her but to see her staring back at me. Our eyes locked, and in those brown orbs, I could see that she was worried for me.

 

And for a long time ever since she left, I was able to give her a genuine smile. I did not want her to be worried for me. I just want to see her happy. Her being happy would be the greatest gift for me.

 

"Live a happy life Taengoo~" I called out that sweet name one last time, this was my only wish. For her..
