His eyes watered as the two people in front of the altar said "I do". Not because he found weddings touching but because the love of his life was now married to another. He held back the tears and clapped along with everyone else putting a fake smile on his face to convince, not others, but himself that he was truly happy for the newly-weds. He wondered how he could be so stupid to fall in love so foolishly. How he could be so stupid not to notice that the one he loved could never return his feelings. He let out a small sigh and stood up along with everyone else clapping once again. As the couple made their way down the aisle he tensed knowing that the one that made his heart break would pass right in front of him. He looked down not daring to look the other in the eye as the couple went along. He didn't dare go to the after party either afraid he would lose the little self-control he had and burst into tears right then. As he closed the door to his apartement tears started spilling from his eyes like waterfalls. He sat on the floor in front of his door and cried until he fell asleep.
