Two silouettes. One distinctly taller than the other. The other much older, mature with silk, black hair and the other young, with kind, honey eyes and brown curls that flattened when he touched it.

'A burden on you, eh Minhyuk?' the older remarked.

Minhyuk swung his legs like a child and smiled.'Sooyoung-agasshi is very kind to me. She Accepted the Sky Council's gift, which initiates the link, so I have not risked the Decline.'

'You've always been clever with others' emotions, I'm not suprised, dongsaeng. I am cold and cannot understand, and that was why I had been Declined.' There was an appropriate silence before Minhyuk spoke up.

'I am here to give the first report. Sooyoung does not know about my real form and she Accepted me very well. I think the only problem now is for the link to complete itself without any other interventions from other beings.' Minhyuk gazed into the cool night, and grinned. 'But I'm sure it is going to be alright, hyung'

His acquaintance jumped down from the wall. 'That is going to prove difficult. You have found quite a successful owner, perhaps I'll see her for myself some time. Until then, you're on your own. I will report back to the Council, Minhyuk.'

Minhyuk slid down. ‘Aish, shinja. Well, guess I’m needed back at home. Check you later.’

‘Yah! I thought you didn’t want to come back. Actually, I secretly hoped you got run over by a car or something. You must be bold to come back,’ she twitched irritatingly. She set the silver dog bowl down. Beef casserole. Minhyuk stared at the wet, pink thing and he backed away.

‘Too bad, you aren’t human, or you could eat bulgogi with me. But then again, don’t think I’m sharing.’ She laughed and grabbing her spoon, began to eat.

Minhyuk sniggered. Just you wait dear, he thought maliciously. He glanced back at the beef casserole that sat there, a little rather rejected. ‘Oh buddy, you know I couldn’t eat you.’

‘Ayo, so full!!’ Sooyoung said loudly as she set the rice-specked spoon down. There was still a lot of unfinished food. ‘Eottoke? What should I do with all this food?’ Wrinkling up her face, she padded out the kitchen.

‘Deal with it later.’

A blue glow shot around the room, and Minhyuk could feel himself changing. A sensation came over his head and breathed slowly. There stood a beautiful boy with a smile of a thousand cherubs and a very hungry stomach. Sitting down on the seat where Sooyoung sat just a few minutes ago, he began to dig in. Suddenly, he heard her coming back in.

‘Oh shats!!! What do I do?’ he frantically looked around the small kitchen. His first instinct told him to grab the rice pot (partly out of no reason and partly out of his growling stomach). Grabbing the rice pot, he ducked behind the fridge. Sooyoung, pulling up her sleeves, began to clear the table.

‘Lala-hey, wait a minute. Oh. Where’s the rice pot..?’ She looked around the room.

‘Oh my god. WHERE. IS. THE. RICE. POT?’

Then the door began to ring. ‘Mega Oh my god. Grabbing, the non-stick frypan she moved slowly, ever so slowly towards the door.

She whipped open the green barrier and swung the dangerous, metal implement.
