Darkfic Writing Contest

Description

A writing contest which is specially for darkfics because I'm deprived of it.

Give me something that sends chills down my spine,

Something that makes me sit on the edge of my chair,

Something that makes me feel sick,

Something that makes me want to read more,

Something that makes my heart pound so loudly.

Foreword

Rules:

1. Subscribe.

2. Entries should be written only for this contest which means I accept entries that are written after 29 November 2013.

3. Entries must be a darkfic.

4. Any characters and OCs are allowed.

5. is not allowed. I don't do . If the characters having is part of your plot, please spare me the details and just tell it in another way.

6. is allowed but not encouraged as I don't usually read .

7. Yuri is not allowed. Sorry but I can't stand reading Yuri.

8. Entries must be finished by deadline unless you have a good reason, I will give an extension.

9. No words limit. Chaptered and one shots are fine with me.

10. Beta-readers are allowed but co-authors are not.

11. No bashing.

12. Prompts are optional.

13. Password is crepuscule.

14. Hyperlink this contest in your foreword.

Prizes:

1st place: 400 karma points and upvotes to all of your stories

2nd place: 250 karma points and upvotes to all of your stories

3rd place: 150 karma points and upvotes to all of your stories

Note:

Prizes may change over time. I might add fourth and fifth places if there are other good stories. Oh, if not many people are interested in joining, I will most probably delete this contest and give people who have submitted their entries some karma points(depends on the number of contestants) to make up for it. Hope you're interested to join.

As for , mpreg is not allowed. I'm sorry but I can't stand the thought of males getting pregnant.

You can use more than one prompt.

You can enter more than one entry but if I find all of your stories interesting, I will only choose one of them to win.

Dang when I finally find a contest to apply to, it's over D: Oh well, my story wouldn't have been that shrilling to be honest. I kinda lack in that scary area, though my dream is to write a scary story. Haha, maybe one day I manage to do that

Chapter 10: I'm sorry for the lateness. I've been away from AFF (though I do online sometimes) because wifi in my house was cut off and I had to wait like, a week for it to regain.

Anyway, I was surprised at the fact I won the third place. To be honest, the writing a lot; typos and grammatical errors scattered everywhere. I basically face-palmed myself when I read the chapters back the other day - that is why I was shocked.

Nevertheless, I am awfully delighted you picked my as the top three. I do understand your point. Having a friend in AFF makes us trap in guilt. We'd tend to be biased and stuff.

Thanks again for the prize! Somehow, I think it's worth the wait. I mean, seriously, I'm the one who wrote 16 freaking chapters XD

Chapter 10: I've been staring here this comment box for maybe ten minutes since I really don't know what to say. I participated because it seemed interesting and dark stories are close to my heart, also to gain experience. I never even dreamed of winning the first place so I am both shocked and delightful.
But, thank you, I feel honored that you thought my story was worth the place. And thank you for this contest as well. Also, you've been apologizing a lot for result coming out 'this late' but I think it's fine, we can't just assume that you have nothing else to do. Really, it's fine ^^

Chapter 8: Hi!
I'm sorry but I'm afraid that I'll have to withdraw from the contest. I've had a really long writer's block and I don't know how to overcome it. Plus, I have been very busy lately. You may remove me from the list. Once again, I'm terribly sorry and I would like to wish the other contestants luck! :)
