School bell rang signaling that class is over but Kyungsoo haven’t move a bit . He’s  dreamily staring at the man sleeping next to him  , the man he’s inlove with , the man he wants to spend his forever , the man that invaded every part of him .He’s name is Kim Jongin .He’s bestfriend . But Jongin is clueless about how Kyungsoo feel towards for  him . And he’s madly inlove with his ex-boyfriend , Baekhyun . Jongin’s head over heels inlove with Baekhyun and it gives him a sheer feeling of pain  . 

“Hmmmm , hey Kyungsoo is classes done ? “ Jongin’s sleepy voice gives chill to Kyungsoo’s body.

“ Yes mister “ Kyungsoo acting natural though inside he’s badly shaking .

“Why didn’t you wake me up ? I have to fetch Baekhyun . You know him too well . He doesn’t like waiting “  to his surprise , Jongin is yelling at him . See his madly inlove with Baekhyun he even yell at Kyungsoo for that reason .

“ I didn’t know “ Kyungsoo’s close to tear . He tried to hold back his tears .

“ Yes you know nothing . Just shut the up . I need to go “ Jongin totally dismissing him .

Kyungsoo was left behind dumbfounded !! Jongin’s always been like that . He become a total since Baekhyun ditch him for another man but to Jongin , they’re not over yet and his trying everything to win back Baekhyun .

Jongin stormed out the room and rush to Baekhyun’s room . Kyungsoo followed him despite the fact that Jongin badmouthed him .

 

“Hey Baek , sorry Im late  something came up .” Jongin trying to explain while catching his breath .

“ You don’t have to fetch me . We’re over just incase you forget “ Baekhyun said proudly infront of his friends .

“Baek please let’s talk. We can still work it out . Right ? “ Jongin sounds begging but to no avail . Baekhyun just hardened his expression .

But Jongin’s so persistent . He grabs Baekhyun’s hand and is close to kneeling !

“Let go of me Jongin . We’re so done “ Baekhyun trying to let go from him .

“Let him go dude “ a deep voice just pop out from nowhere .                     

“And who the hell are you to order me around “ Jongin’s voice seems like asking for a fight .

Kyungsoo silently watch the situation right  at Jongin’s back .

“ Hey Chanyeol babe, this guy’s hurting me “ Baekhyun’s voice sounded like someone who’s been or something . He sounded so unnatural .And Kyungsoo’s controlling himself not to pull Baekhyun’s hair off .

“Let him go or else “ Chanyeol said in a firm voice .

“And if I wouldn’t “ Jongin’s unable to finish what he was saying because Chanyeol’s fist  already landed on Jongin’s face . Jongin’s been thrown out . Kyungsoo panicked and immediately attend Jongin to help him get up . Jongin spits blood and that adds more fuel to the fire Jongin has started .

“ You’ll get what you deserve if you don’t “ Chanyeol’s voice full of authority .

Jongin was about to punch Chanyeol too but Baekhyun came running and meddle between them two .

“Jongin stop it . Just disappear from here . I don’t want to see your face even just for one second “ Baekhyun shouted right at Jongin’s face . Then walk away together with Chanyeol .

“ Are you okay ? “ Kyungsoo ask though he know it’s a dumb question .

“What ya think ? Yes im alright and it’s all thanks to you !! “ Jongin said coldly and leave Kyungsoo alone .

Kyungsoo ’s been  left  behind for the second time  for this day and he feel weak on the knees . He feel weak inside after what he just witnessed . Now it’s as clear as the blue sky  how much Jongin loves Baekhyun .

The following days was hell, Jongin ignores him totally . It’s as if he’s invicible . Jongin will just walk past on him . Jongin doesn’t even throw a single glance at him . And everytime Jongin caught Kyungsoo looking at him, Kyungsoo clearly  sees how much Jongin despise him .His icy cold stares kills Kyungsoo from inside .

 

 

It was until Kyungsoo received a call in an ungodly hour of the night .He hesitate for a second but later on decided to take the call .

“Are you asleep ? What took you so long ? “  the familiar voice brings shiver to Kyungsoo’s body . How can he not recognize the man behind that voice ?? 

‘’ Hey ? Did I disturb you ? “ Jongin’s voice is shaking .

“ Are you drunk ? Where are you ? “ Kyungsoo ask him question instead .

“ Im outside your apartment and it’s freaking cold here . Open the door . “  Jongin said .

“What ?? Wait, are you sure ?? Wait Im coming ‘’ Kyungsoo’s startled .

He then rush to the door and found Jongin freezing to death and he smells alcohol .

“Are you drunk ? What happen ? “ Kyungsoo’s worried  .Not a single moment he saw Jongin in that state .But to his surprised Jongin kiss him instead . The kiss was not passionate nor gentle . It’s harsh and bitter and full of agony . The smell of the alcohol suffocates him but he responded the kiss with so much love .He waited for this . He crave for this . He want this . He wanted to show Jongin how much he love him through this kiss .Kyungsoo embrace Jongin with so much care . He wanted to erase Jongin’s pain through the kiss they’re sharing .Jongin couldn’t hold it much longer . He carried Kyungsoo to his room with lips still sealed together . Jongin carefully put him on his bed . Jongin’s hands were exploring Kyungsoo’s body , caressing him and slowly undressing himself and Kyungsoo .

“More “ Kyungsoo moaned making Jongin lost his mind .

And without  words Jongin find his way to Kyungsoo’s . The pain Kyungsoo’s dealing was no joke  . His body arched with so much sensation  Jongin was giving him . Kyungsoo’s tears find their way out .

’’Hushh . Im sorry “ Jongin said between gasping .

“It’s nothing . Just continue “ Kyungsoo’s drown at the moment .And with that Jongin continue to move his hips up and down , to and from .

And later on they let out a breath they didn’t know they’ve been holding .

 

 

Kyungsoo’s awaken by the beautiful chirping of the birds . He’s still in daze about what happenned last night . He ran his finger to the other side of the bed but to his surprise he found no presence of Jongin . He open his eyes and try to remember everything . It’s not a dream . He swear . The pain his feeling between his thighs are  so real . He check his bed and there you’ll see the that someone’s sleeping with him last night . He searched his room and found an enclosed letter beside his alarm clock .He open it with hands shaking .

What happened last night was a mistake .Im sorry .

Jongin.

What he just read literally killed him . It was supposed to be a fairytale but it turned out to be a nightmare . He was dumbfounded . He’s literally in shock . The tears just came rushing down to his face . He was just laying in his bed trying to reminisce everything about the night they just shared together . The feeling of contentment now turns into remorse .The minute of happiness he gaves him turns into forever of pain .

But Kyungsoo need to deal with it and continue living life the way it should be . He rose from his bed . Continue doing his daily routine . Taking a bath getting ready for school . It is then he realized that it’s Saturday . Just the mere thought of staying home alone all day long makes him feel empty .  He laid back on his bed trying not to cry but to no avail . He cried his heart out . He cried for himself . He cried for his unrequited love .He cried for his unlucky fate . He cried everything , letting all the pain he kept inside his heart . Kyungsoo unawarely fallen asleep getting himself drown in his own tears . But he unconsciously want to remain asleep forever scared of waking up feeling all the pain over and over again .

He woke up with the rambling sound of his stomach . He then realized he haven’t eaten anything and it’s getting dark outside . He check his freezer and saw nothing  but a piece of cold pizza . He decided to just eat in a fast food restaurant. After eating he decided to stroll at a nearby park . The weather’s good and he badly needed to breath . He sit in a vacant bench looking from the people walking to and from .

The surroundings so refreshing . The atmosphere is much more better . Feeling all freshen up from the woe he’s in . He was just starting to savor the moment when he saw a familiar figure not far from where he was sitted . Memories flushed like flood . The pain he just started to escape all come again by just staring at the figure . How can he not recognize that figure , that very figure that killed him , that figure that even if he’s closing his eyes he will always knew , that figure that takes everything away from him . But Jongin wasn’t alone . He was with Baekhyun happily chatting with each other . With face so close , with hands intertwined . How can he not get hurt with the picture laid on his very own sight .

He look at the other direction trying to brush off the scene he just witnessed . He let out a heavy sigh trying his very best not to cry . He looked at the night stars . He envy the stars so much . They always have each other . No one will surely be alone . Not like him . No matter how much he call out Jongin’s name he will never heard him .No matter how much he waits in vain Jongin will never save him .No matter how much he extends his heart Jongin will never recognize him because right from the start Jongin made it clear that he means nothing to him except of being a friend .

 

Kyungsoo decided to walk away before he lost his mind and desperately ran to Jongin . He’s walking very fast with head facing the ground . He’s afraid someone might see his tears .

 

He bumped into someone and asked a sincere apology .

“ Are you crying ? “ Said the man with a deep voice .

He was surprise to see Chanyeol there . He’s afraid Chanyeol will saw Baekhyun together with Jongin .

“ No Im not . “ said Kyungsoo obviously lying .

“ You can’t lie to me . You’re eyes shows everything what you’re feeling “ Chanyeol said while looking straight into his eyes . He look away and accidentally land his eyes on Jongin and Baekhyun both unaware of their presence .

Chanyeol look at the same direction as his .

“You know about them? “ Kyungsoo ask , surprise not to see Chanyeol’s angry expression .

“ Yeah . A while ago “ Chanyeol replied shortly .

“ It hurts . ‘‘ Kyungsoo bursted out totally ignoring what Chanyeol would think about him .

“ I know “ Chanyeol said while grabbing Kyungsoo and bring him into his arms .Kyungsoo let Chanyeol comfort him . Kyungsoo needed this . He needed someone to accompany him during this darkest hour of his life .He lean on Chanyeol’s masculine chest and stayed there for awhile .

Chanyeol totally knew how he feel . His heart crying out for Kyungsoo . If only Jongin knew Baekhyun’s hidden agenda he will surely ditch him .Baekhyun accepted Jongin’s love because he want to get even with Chanyeol . Chanyeol’s inlove with Kyungsoo so he courted Baekhyun to hurt Jongin because Jongin is a total jerk for hurting Kyungsoo . Kyungsoo’s sobs make his heart shattered . If only he can take Kyungsoo’s pain .He’s more than willing to shoulder Kyungsoo’s burden . He hugs him tighter not planning of  letting him go .

“ Ssshhhh . Everything will be alright “ assured Chanyeol .

“ Wanna have some drink ? I know a good place “ . Chanyeol offered . This is the best thing he can think of .

Without thinking Kyungsoo nodded . He wanted to drown himself .

 

Chanyeol brought him to a bar . It was so noisy and cigarettes’  smoke’s  are everywhere . The people are all getting drunk . Some couple are kissing in the corner totally ignoring the people around . Some are dancing ily on the dance floor . Some are flirting .All sorts of people are present .

 

Chanyeol leads him to a table and introduce him to his friends .He can’t hardly remember all their name but he recognize them with their appearances .

The guy with dark circles around his eyes is kissing nonstop with his blonde boyfriend . The guy who only drink bubbletea is dancing ily with his boyfriend who is very overprotective with him . The man that paid the bill is talking with Chanyeol while his boyfriend is sleeping . Kyungsoo wonder how can he sleep in this kind of place . The last couple is so petite just about Kyungsoo’s height and is so very noise playing prank with whoever they laid their eyes with . Kyungsoo pity those people they played prank with . They do all sort of prank like touching one’s , putting cigarettes to their drinks and such .  Kyungsoo’s loving the atmosphere now . He’s enjoying their company .Chanyeol just finish talking to the guy and is serving Kyungsoo another glass of beer . He drink it with one shot .Slowly he’s getting used to the place and sometimes move his hips to dance with the music . Chanyeol would sometimes whisper something into his ear and purposely bite his ear making him feel hot . He wonder if Chanyeol has that effect on him or is it the beer’s fault . The night is getting late and they’re still out enjoying the night . It was until 3am in the morning that they decided to go home .

 

They part ways on one of the bus station . They said their goodbyes but Chanyeol stayed there insisting on accompanying Kyungsoo but he refused saying he would reach his home very late .

 

To his surprised Chanyeol hug him and kiss his forehead .

“ When you feel down and needed someone to talk to , call me . Okay ? “ Chanyeol said while smiling . A smile so pure that would take everyone’s heart but not his . His heart beats for Jongin and he can’t do nothing about it .

“ I will . You go home now . I’ll be fine “ Kyungsoo assuring Chanyeol he’ll be okay .

 

They parted ways and he was all alone walking toward his apartment when he saw someone standing outside his door . He was surprised when he found out who it was. It was Jongin looking like he’s been chase by bad guys . With hair look so messy . He’s the opposite figure Kyungsoo saw earlier when he was with Baekhyun .

When Jongin saw Kyungsoo approaching him , he ran into Kyungsoo’s arms and cry like a baby who’s been scolded by his mommy for eating too much sweets . Kyungsoo accept Jongin with open arms despite the hurt he had cause him .

 

He lead Jongin inside his apartment and there Jongin told him everything . Baekhyun broke up with him again with no reason .

“ I don’t know what I have done wrong  Kyung . He just broke up with me . “ Jongin cried . Kyungsoo comforted him totally erasing Jongin and Baekhyun's moment he just witnessed the day before . He wrapped Jongin in his arms like nothing happened . Jongin buried himself in Kyungsoo's  arms .

 "You don't have to suffer like this Jongin you still have me and you'll always have me if you will just look at my way "  he wants to voice out but the situation wouldn't let him and he wouldn't dare . Some things are better kept hidden . But how about the thing that had happened  between them that night ?? Well maybe Jongin's just looking for company  and he happens to be the first person Jongin thought of . He's happy by the thought that atleast Jongin thought of him during those bad times .

Jongin's sobs brings him back to reality . He looks so damn devastated and wasted . He's heart cries for Jongin . If only he can take Jongin's pain . If only he can be Baekhun just for a moment . If only ......

" I love him Kyungsoo . I love him like no else . I love him with all that I am ." Jongin said between sobs .

" I know , I know "  and I love you too . He wants to add but better kept lock his feelings because telling him wouldn't make a difference and telling him wouldn't help Jongin in any way .

He brought  Jongin to the guest room and there Jongin cry his heart out while Kyungsoo’s remain hidden in the corner crying for himself too . Jongin fell asleep with eyes drained with tears . Kyungsoo reached for Jongin , caressing his hair carefully, afraid that he might wake him up .

“ Open your eyes and you’ll see how much you are loved by me .When you need a home  to return to I’m here . I’ll wait for you . Baekhyun’s maybe the world to you right now but to me you’re more than that . You yourself is my LIFE . I’m going to erase the pain you’re dealing now , I’ll save you from the woe you’re in even if it cost me my happiness because yours’  comes first .I LOVE YOU . “                                                                                        Kyungsoo silently cry . He pecked a kiss on Jongin’s  forehead .

He locked the door and leave the room with a heavy heart .He went to his room lying in bed for an hour wondering what will tomorrow bring. He  fell asleep filled with heavy thoughts about Jongin and his hidden love .

Kyungsoo’s awaken by the scent of an over cooked food . He wonder where it is coming then he realized it’s from his kitchen .He stormed out the room with his pajamas on . He saw Jongin trying his very best in cooking . He smiled at the sight . Jongin looks  good in his kitchen . It’s as if he belongs there , it’s as if he’s part of it . He dreamily stare at Jongin unaware that Jongin’s looking in his way .

“Hey Kyungoo would you mind helping me ? This thing doesn’t suit me “ he smiles . Looking so unbelievably handsome  , as if he  hadn’t spent the night crying .

Kyungsoo’s startled . His eyes grew wide . “ C-coming”  he answered with a stammering voice .

“ You just sit there . I’ll prepare everything for you “ Kyungsoo’s more than happy to cook for him . His heart-shaped smile formed . His heart’s rejoicing .He felt spectacularly happy .

“ But I want to help “ Jongin insisted giving him a pouty look .

“Jongin don’t give me that look . It doesn’t suit you “ he let out a smile . But at the back of his mind his wishing for him to really stop. He might burst out his feelings totally unfolding the love he holds for him .

“ Okay . Okay “ Jongin surrender  still wearing  a beautiful smile .

Kyungsoo do his thing gracefully .As if he’s cooking for his husband . He even see themselves  as a newlywed couple .

Later Kyungsoo feel awkward because he’s aware that a pair of eyes is staring at him . He nearly slipped the glass but to his relief he immediately get a hold of it .He sighed with relief .

“Jongin you can go to the living room and wait there . “  you’re presence is  distracting me . He wanted to add but decided not to .

“ I like watching you cook. You looked  good at it . “ Jongin reply, making his heart skip a beat .

“ Okay”  Kyungsoo said shortly unaware that he’s trembling  out of happiness  .

But in the corner of his eyes he saw Jongin coming his way . Horses  inside his heart starting to race . Butterflies in his stomach gone wild . Not long enough before  he feel Jongin’s hand wrapped his small waist with face rested above his shoulder and the words Jongin whisper to his ear send millions of electric currents to his body “  Thank you for being here . Please let’s stay like this . Please stay with me . “ Jongin’s sweet voice made him gone crazy .

“  I will as long as you want me to “ Kyungsoo’s trying to maintain his self composure . Before he loses his mind, he unwrapped Jongin’s arm and face him . “  Okay you sit there you little cry baby  breakfast’s ready in a minute “ he said trying to sound natural .

His glad Jongin’s back . His glad Jongin can smile now . The kind of smile that melt everything inside of him . His glad his BESTFRIEND is back .

Breakfast was great . They talked like they used to be , chatting , laughing together . It feels good seeing Jongin act this way again . Kyungsoo silently wished for time to stop . He wants to savor the moment , he wants to memorize Jongin’s laughter and above all he just wants them to stay like this if not for eternity then  just for a little longer .

They talked all day long until Jongin said his goodbye . He needs to go home because it’s getting late . When Jongin stepped out of his apartment part of him wanted to stop him but he knows his asking for too much . As he watched Jongin’s back walked away from him it feels like half of him has been taken away with him . As he closed the door ,he close his eyes reminiscing what just happen and smiling to himself. If someone saw him they might think he’s gone crazy but who cares ?The happiness that envelops him is much more to take . His heart been exploding with happiness .

Monday morning has arrived , in two weeks time classes will be over . Paper works have to be pass , school activities blocking him to spend time with Jongin . He missed him . It’s been a week since he last talked to him . That’s when he decided to visit Jongin in his apartment bringing Jongin’s favorite food . He knocked on the door  twice  but no one has open the door . He then realized that he has a spare key of Jongin’s apartment in case he went there and Jongin’s out or if Jongin’s sleeping because he sleeps like a dead log  . A simple knock won’t wake him up . He slids the key to the doorklock and open it . The room is a mess as usual.He went straight to Jongin’s room thinking that maybe he’s sleeping .

“ Jongin I’m here “ Kyungsoo said cheerfully as he open the door but the sight that welcome him is unbearably heartbreaking . Jongin’s sleeping with Baekhyun totally while Baekhyun’s playing with Jongin’s  hair gently .

“ Shhhhh he’s just fallen asleep “ hush Baekhyun with a smile of contentment . He admits Baekhyun’s physical feature is way better than his but what is most envious is Baekhyun holds Jongin’s heart .One thing he can never have and that puts him  in a solitary state .

Baekhyun got up from bed and signals Kyungsoo to wait in the living room . Kyungsoo walked towards the living room like  some kind of robot with no emotions at all completely devastated inside . After awhile Baekhyun walks in his direction with a smile . To be honest they’re not that close and Kyungsoo knows they will never be . How can that be possible when everytime Kyungsoo saw Baekhyun with Jongin he  just want to punch Baekhyun’s face .First for hurting Jongin , for leaving Jongin alone for his convenience  and most of all how can they be friends when everytime he saw  Baekhyun with Jongin  it’s like his heart’s been pricked by thousands of  needles . It hurts to the point of death .

“ What brings you here ?” ask Baekhyun with a smile . Yes , they are not friends nor enemy . Just a mere acquaintance .

“ I  came here to ask Jongin if he’s done with his projects “  answer Kyungsoo after a long pause. He don’t know what to answer so he voice out the first thing that comes in  mind .

“ Oh , should I wake him up ? It sounds important “  Baekhyun said but with a face of disbelief .

“ Oh ! no . no . I think I should go . I don’t want to bother you two . Just tell him I dropped by “ Kyungsoo ready to leave .

“ I think you should  . Okay I’ll tell him “  Baekhyun’s voice filled with jealousy .

As fast as the  blew of the wind Kyungsoo leaves Jongin’s apartment with heart full of torment .Why does it’s always has to be like this? Jongin’s so dense not recognizing Kyungsoo’s  feelings .

Kyungsoo reached his apartment and lay in bed feeling dead tired . The calmness of the night soaked Kyungsoo’s heart in deep  agony . The music played from afar bring unsavory feeling that even he can’t escape . The sound of the night’s crickets wrapped Kyungsoo in so much remorse . He sits there in the middle of his bed wishing that someone would be there beside him to take him out of his loneliness and misery .But nobody came and nobody will . He then realized that the greatest pain that comes from love is loving someone you can never have .  Everytime he remember everything about Jongin he gets sentimental because it’s the only thing he can hold on to . The only thing remain constant is the memories they have shared  while everything has changed .

He’s in that state when his doorbell ring . He’s mood  lighten up thinking it was Jongin . In a split second his now infront of his door fixing himself trying to look presentable . He open his door with a wide smile expecting it was Jongin but to his surprise it wasn’t . His smile slowly fades away .

“ Eheeeem , did I surprise you that much ? “ Baekhyun’s voice wakes him up .

“ It’s  just that I didn’t expect you to know my place “ Kyungsoo replied still shocked with Baekhyun’s surprise visit . “ Come inside “ Kyungsoo invited .

“ No need . I just came here to tell you one thing . STAY AWAY FROM JONGIN “ Baekhyun’s voice sounded like thunder to his ears . He couldn’t absorb the idea . He is still in shock when Baekhyun speak “ I repeat stay away from him , I don’t want you tagging along with Jongin . You can do it right ? “ Baekhyun with a smile . A smile full of pretense .

“But why ? He’s my bestfriend why would I do that ? “ Kyungsoo argue , totally disregarding what Baekhyun told him .

“ Bestfriend ? You really thought you are ?? Don’t make such joke . Jongin made friends with you because he pity you , because he knows he can’t return the feelings you have for him. The reason Jongin’s keeping you because he feel guilty for not loving you back .”  Baekhyun’s words are like knife stabbing him from inside . Kyungsoo was taken aback . He blink to keep the tears from falling .

“ I don’t want to be harsh . Please save some of your dignity . That is, If you still have . “ Baekhyun continue totally leaving Kyungsoo shocked .

“ I hope I made myself clear to you and one more thing , don’t you ever mention this to Jongin . Until then “ Baekhyun take his leave first with victory in his hands .

Kyungsoo let out the tears he’s been holding . He’s not sure either to believe Baekhyun’s word or not . But it’s too detailed and Jongin loves Baekhyun and maybe burst it out with him .

He’s so lost . Why all of a sudden ? He loved him without expecting in return . He protected his love for him . He kept everything all by himself to protect their  friendship . Kyungsoo drowned himself in tears that night  hoping to forget what Baekhyun said but to no avail . He tried to sleep to forget the pain but everytime he close his eyes all he see is Jongin’s picture smiling at him . He let out a silent scream out of despair . Then later on that night he fell asleep hugging his pillow tight .

The following two weeks was hell . Jongin’s been ignoring him but he already knew the reason behind’s Jongin’s actions . He ignores him because to Jongin he was just a lost puppy soaked in the rain craving for attention and now Jongin  grew tired of taking care of him .The pain his feeling now is killing him from within . It eats everything inside him . Tomorrow marks the end of the school year but Kyungsoo feels nothing but remorse , wit and anguish . He doesn’t feel like attending the graduation rites so he stayed in his apartment . He got no calls from Jongin , what does he expect?? Jongin doesn’t need him now . He’s happy with Baekhyun and that’s all that matter  to Jongin . The weather outside is so beautiful . The sun is shining so brightly , the birds chirping in a lovely way , the flowers are dancing to the music of the wind but he’s feeling the opposite way . And it hurts him more .Out of pain he dialed Chanyeol’s number . He doesn’t even know why he did that . He just wanted some company and thought Chanyeol would be of a great help .

“ Hello?” after one ring Chanyeol immediately answer the call .

“ Hi it’s me Kyungsoo . I’m thinking if you could come over but if you can’t just don’t bother “ Kyungsoo’s voice was more like a whisper . He’s afraid he might burst out in tears .

“ Is something wrong ? “  ask Chanyeol immediately .

“ No . Im just bored .I just wanted some company “ lied Kyungsoo .

“ No I’ll come . I’ll be there in ten minutes . Wait for me . Okay ? “ Chanyeol in a worried voice .

“ Okay “ Kyungsoo ended the call first.

After ten minutes Chanyeol came  rushing towards Kyungsoo’s door.

“ HEY “ Chanyeol greeted him while panting . He looks  so undeniably handsome while being drenched in sweat .

“ Wooaah that was fast “ Kyungsoo commented .

“ I brought some wine . Let’s drink til we drop “ Chanyeol said while smiling .

Kyungsoo wonder why does it has to be Jongin . Chanyeol would be perfect . But he can’t just dictate his heart . He can’t just erase Jongin in his heart and replace it with Chanyeol . Everything needs time .And that what he’s asking . Kyungsoo’s heart has  a mind of it’s own . He has no control over it .Right or wrong it’s gonna do . Only what it feels is true . And he’ll surely follow it wherever it goes . Anywhere it leads him to . Either in happiness or in sadness .

“ You’re so quiet . I know something’s wrong . Spill iy out . I’ll listen . “ Chanyeol said sincerely .Right at that moment he burst out in tears . He let out everything to Chanyeol .

“ How can he not love me? Is something wrong with me ? Tell me , please Chanyeol tell me what’s wrong with me . I’ve given him everything . Isn’t it enough ? “ He doesn’t care anymore . The pain’s too much and he needed to burst it out before it destroys him.

“ You are perfect in every way . He’s blind and unlucky for not loving you back .You have loved someone and got a broken heart in return , well im not saying that this would be the last . Being hurt is part of loving but you should not let your heart ever push you from believing that you deserve someone better . Open your eyes . You’ll see how wonderful this world is . Don’t lock yourself in a world where you knew you get nothing but pain . “ Chanyeol said sincerely . His words are so soothing it makes him cry more .

“Cry as long as you want .Let it out .Crying is not a weakness . It actually heals the wound that laughter can’t cure .You might think that the most painful thing in life is losing the one we love , but the truth is … the most painful thing is losing ourselves in the process of loving someone too much  . So take things slowly and try not to risk it all anymore . Save some love for yourself before loving someone too much “ Chanyeol sounding like a love expert  and his words are truly helping him . In every way .

“ Thank you . I’ll  put that in mind “ Kyungsoo said sincerely .

“ So smile now . Remember you don’t own all the problem in the world , some of them are mine “  Chanyeol’s words makes Kyungsoo’s eyebrows raise .

“Wait , are you going some bad things too ?” Kyungsoo’s voice raise in curiousity .

“ I guess it’s time “ Chanyeol mumbles letting out a sigh .

“ Okay hear me first “ Chanyeol started .

“ I Love you . Sshhh ! Don’t talk okay ?? Let me speak until I finish this . I may not find the will to speak again . I Love you the first time I laid eyes on you . I love everything about you . But when I found out that you’re madly inlove with that bastard Jongin I decided not to spill it . I keep quiet . I keep myself hidden . Looking at  you from afar while you are busy staring at Jongin too . My heart shatters I swear but I keep telling myself to keep calm . Who am I right ?? I tried my very best to keep it . But the more I hide it , the more it grows . I’ve waited for the day to meet you . Remember the day when I punch Jongin ? It’s not because I love Baek or Im jealous of whatever they had it’s because everytime I saw you in pain I just want to break Jongin’s bones . He’s an of not loving you . “ Chanyeol’s words leaves Kyungsoo’s jaw to drop . He’s speechless .

“ If only I can be Jongin . I envy him ,everytime you look at him . I wish I was him . I long for that stare , for that look . I ‘ve waited for you to look at me with the same desire you have for Jongin . But I guess destiny wouldn’t let it happen . “ Chanyeol’s voice cracked and it panicked Kyungsoo .

“ Kyung , let me be . Let me be the light at the end of your tunnel . Let me be the one to protect you . Let me be the one to love you . Let me love you  “ Chanyeol totally spilling everything inside him .

“ Yeol , Im sorry for being so dense . Im sorry for hurting you . I didn’t know . But Jongin owns me . Everything about me belongs to him . If only .. “ Kyungsoo’s words were cut by Chanyeol .

“ I’ll wait for you Kyung . I’ll wait until you open the door and let me in .I’ll never gonna give up on you Kyung . “ Chanyeol’s voice is full of sincerity .

“ There’s nothing to wait for Yeol . Im sorry . I can’t love you back . “ Kyungsoo’s words were like a knife to Chanyeol . Every words he utter is just like a sword that slash everything inside him .

“ You can go. Sorry for inviting you over “ Kyungsoo trying to avoid Chanyeol’s gaze .

As Chanyeol walks toward the door he turn back to Kyungsoo hoping to see Kyungsoo’s expression but to no avail . Kyungsoo’s so sure that he can’t able to love somebody else except Jongin .

When Chanyeol left , Kyungsoo fell on the floor letting out all the tears he’s been holding . The pain he’s been dealing is no joke . He wants Chanyeol to be happy . Feeling the guilt as deep as the abyss .

Kyungsoo unconsciously embrace himself while tears keep on falling . Jongin’s so near but Jongin let him feel that there’s no way for them to be together . Kyungsoo gather himself and decided to do the right thing .

Morning breeze welcome Kyungsoo as he rose from his bed . He decided to call Jongin and invited him over . He prepared himself for the revelation he’s going to unravel . There’s no turning back .

It’s almost 4pm in the afternoon when Jongin arrive . The moment Jongin stepped in he waste no time anymore .

“ I LOVE YOU Jongin “ Kyungsoo said looking straight at Jongin’s eyes .

“What’s this ? Is this some kind of joke ? I tell you Kyungsoo it’s not funny at all “ Jongin’s expression hardened .

“ Am I really joking to you ?  Look at me ? Look at me straight in my eyes and tell me if im lying “ Kyungsoo’s close to tear .

“ This is bull . I’m off “ Jongin totally dismissing Kyungsoo .

Kyungsoo blocked Jongin’s way with so much determination .

“ Why can’t you love me ?? I’ve been with you through bad and good times . I love you and never will I hurt you “ Kyungsoo broke . He bursted out everything .

“ So you expect me to love you back ?? I should have known . Please Kyungsoo let’s stop this . You know how much I love Baekhyun . Let’s just be friends . Let’s remain this way , we are better this way .” Jongin’s expression hardened .

Kyungsoo finally gave up .He threw up his white flag for the first time in his life .

He approached Jongin and hugged him for the last time .Jongin’s arms wasn’t embracing him .Jongin’s body wasn’t accepting him .His heart doesn’t want him either .

Kyungsoo finally let go .

“Sorry for expecting , sorry for bothering you . You can go now “ Kyungsoo holding his breath .

“Im sorry Soo . But I really love Baek. Goodbye “ Jongin making his way out . His way out to Kyungsoo’s heart .

 

2 YEARS had passed since that incident . Kyungsoo lost communications with Jongin  . He shutdown his own world . He jailed himself in a shell .But he’s slowly forgetting the pain now .2years had helped him  forget the past ,2years had helped him love himself first and 2years had helped him realized what a jerk Jongin is .

 

And today marks the start of his life . His wearing a beautiful white suit for his wedding . Yes he’s getting married to the man who helped him moved on , to the man who never gave up on him , to the man he’s inlove with ,he’s getting married to Chanyeol .

 

Chanyeol held his hand carefully leading him into the altar . Chanyeol look so absolutely stunning . Wearing a smile that he always had . Chanyeol whispered something in his ear .

 

“I love you little owl “

“I love you too monkey” said Kyungsoo .

 

“ I have been waiting for this day . I’ve waited so long to say this to you , if you’re asking me do I love you so much , you know I do baby . Never will I lose grip of your hands , no matter how hard it is I’ll hold on to it forever . Never will I say goodbye to you because with you I know I’ll get through life’s sorrow . Never will I stop loving you because that only means living my life in woe . I love you until the world’s through . I love you little owl “ Chanyeol’s words get right through Kyungsoo . His vows of love is enough to take Kyungsoo’s breath away .

“Enough of your words you monkey . Kiss me now “ Kyungsoo wearing his beautiful heart shape smile .

For Kyungsoo he found his love . He know this will last . And with that thought he deepen the kiss .
