There is a band by the name of UKISS,

a group of 6 boys whose debut was easily dismissed.

Alexander, Soohyun, Kibum, Eli, Kevin & Dongho were their names.

Just young boys whose dreams were to gain stardom and fame.

Through sweat and tears, they work without rest,

to follow their sunbae's footsteps to be the very best.

Then the day finally came, where they could perform on stage,

with their title track "Not Young." a song about falling in love, despite their young age.

The song was cute, but it couldn't even compare,

to other groups like SHINee, 2PM...it just wasn't fair.

Then "I Like You" came out, but it didn't help at all,

again, it was cute, but still, it made even the members bawl.

"This is just embarassing...the way they look there."

"Where was the stylist? It seems no one cares."

So they tried again, this time adding a new member:Lee Kiseop, making the group into 7,

And release a more mature sound called "Man Man Ha Ni", while praying to the heavens:

"Please accept our grown image, we know we changed a lot...

no longer the cutesey boy type; we shed them to be manly hot."

And although the song had some great responses, it still wasn't enough,

to reach the #1 spot; again, the boys had it rough.

Release after release, "Binguel Binguel," "Shut Up" & "Always," but still not even one win,

drastic changes were made: Xander & Kibum were out...and AJ & Hoon were in.

With fresh faces, they came together to release "0330," a title with many meanings,

"I love you." "Eternal love." "Completeness." It all depends on your feelings.

A beautiful MV and song, it blew away any doubts,

that these guys had real talent, but still they striked out.

"What's wrong with Korea?" "Why can't they win, this awesome band?"

With their best song and dance yet...by the title of "Neverland."

"We lost to Kara? How can this be?"

"Step it Up" is catchy, but come on...seriously?!"

We thought for sure that this song would be the one to take it all,

who knew fate was so cruel when it made its judgement call.

Back to the drawing board, this time winning over Japan as the goal,

they debut with "Tick Tack," which instantly skyrocketed to the top of the poll.

"Forbidden Love" & "A Shared Dream" came next and won over more hearts,

Japan seem to love them, but Korea? Only a few took part.

It seems the "International" part of UKISS was the main core,

All over the countries:Japan, Indonesia, Phillipines...each wanting more.

After they return to Korea, "DoraDora" was soon release,

Remember the shirt lifts? The body rolls? Man did our blood lost increase.

KissMes recovered and soon came "Believe;" that was shot inside a small tunnel where poor Kevin got hurt,

NH quickly edit the mv once KissMes were alert.

Then it was back to Japan for both "Dear My Friend" and "One of You,"

Both cute songs that show UKISS' pleasant view.

Next came a huge change, a track without AJ called "Stop Girl" which was a very catchy song,

Did I mention the english version? This track could do no wrong.

"We peak at top 20, but we wanted top 10."

Streaming endlessly and losing sleep until the very end.

UKISS always work hard and KissMe does too,

but it still wasn't enough...what else could we do?

Next came "Distance" the last song of the year,

another simple, but beautiful mv, it seems Japan's image for them was very clear.

2013 came with another Japanese track "Alone,"

why can't they have korean tracks like this? It'll definitely make UKISS well-known.

Along comes a korean track, "Standing Still" and yay! AJ is back!

So we work hard again to get a shot at #1 with this new title track.

But what is this? Oh God, what have they done to Dongho's hair?

And the hobo fire, really? Did NH not even care?

Another "homeless video..." another random set,

UKISS deserved more than that after their hard work and sweat.

"Inside of Me" was then release, again from Japan,

Another simple, but well shot MV, letting them gain even more overseas fan.

Then came the sad news of Dongho's decision to leave,

he no longer wanted the spotlight, we understand that, but we can't help but grieve.

UKISS had to be strong and continue to work and sing,

with the maknae now gone, it was hard, but they were still managing.

The year's almost ending, but one more mv was release for korean fans called "She's Mine"

A hip-hop track that some weren't sure of, some love it, some hate it, some say it's "just fine."

And just like that UKISS is now preparing to go back to Japan with "Fall in Love" another great hit, it seems,

where it'll most likely do well, for in Japan, they have a lot of esteem.

Oh UKISS, I'm glad to see you are doing well there,

if only I can say the same for Korea, but sadly, not many people seem to care.

I'll continue to root for your success, but until that day is here,
