Myungsoo stares at the photos in his hands and for the first time in 12 years his heart trembles. Slowly, his grip tightens around the photos and a rush of curses fill his mind. He looks up to his fellow brother who delivered the photos to him.

“Sungjong-ah, is it,” Myungsoo pauses and he sets down the photos on the coffee table unable to hold onto them any longer fearing that he’ll tear them to pieces, “Is it really him?” He asks steading his voice and his brother nods.

“Unfortunately,” Sungjong says and lets out a sigh. He leans back in his chair and glances out the coffee shop window watching the pedestrians rush by going about their own lives. He suddenly feels a twinge of bittersweet about this whole situation but snaps out of it when he hears Myungsoo shuffle the photos once more.
