CHAPTER 3

It’s been more than 1 year since that day happen, the day I met him, from that day on

He change my life,

He gives meaning to my boring life like my friends told me,

He makes my heart flutter with just his smile.

 I’m smiling without any reason

I’m now planning my future with him before I go to bed

I still remember clearly when he as out

I remember how cute he is when he ask me out,

“Noona, we have to go” IL woo said

“Chae won sshi” he held my hand “can you stay for a while? Until our maid  come? My mom is not in the country right now, I’m not comfortable in hospital please? I’m afraid to be alone here”

His hand is cold and trembling, I can see the fear in his eyes, I don’t know how that happens but I can feel his fear. The way he holds my hand, there is familiarity, as if I know him for long time,

“You leave first Il woo, just do the endorsement, any way it’s already time, I’m already out of duty” I said to Il woo, I know it’s not me doing like this, it’s so unprofessional but what can I do, I cannot say no to this man

Il woo just nod in disbelief, in jealousy and in pain he felt, the way noona look this guy, He know he will not look at him like that. He cannot stand the scene in front of him, the only girl that he likes now likes a guy now and it’s not even him.

“Thank you” Maru said in relief

“No problem, I will leave you first, I will just make a call in the office ok? I will come back, promise, the nurse is here to examine you” I tapped twice in his hands to reassure him and smile at him

I talked to Hyo joo to informed her that I will not come back to the office that something came up I did not tell her the truth because I know she will ask more question and I’m not yet ready to answer them, just hoping that Il woo will not say a word to her chingu

“Appa!”

I am shocked when I saw father wearing white gown, medicine is also his 1^st love but he needed to give up because he need to manage the company and now look where he is, back in his first love?

“What are you doing here old man and what are you wearing?” looking at him with sharp eye “Is this the reason why you want me to manage the company has?”

He just laughed “We will talked about this later sweetie, I think I have patient to attend first”

He left and went to the bed of Maru, I just followed him

“Kang Maru sshi? According to the result of the test you need to have operation right now, you need to sign this informed consent for the surgery, your with whom?” my father ask

“She is with me..” and he held my hand again

I tried to pull my hand but with no use, he even hold my hand tighter, I think my face is red not just my face maybe my whole body

“She is your?” asking him but he is looking at me intently

“My girlfriend” he said while looking at me

All eyes are on me now, the nurse who is smiling,  my father who is looking at as if he want to kill me from not telling me about him, what to tell him? Even me I’m surprise with that declaration and Maru sshi with love?? Love? Really? I hope so,

 After he said that my heart want to get out from my ribs with happiness and with nervousness from my dad who is now looking at sharply

I want to jump and disappear at the same time, what to do now??

“Your girlfriend, really, huh? Ok, you have to prepare for the surgery; the nurse will take you to the operating room to prepare you and you girlfriend” he point his finger at me “you know what to do since you’re his girlfriend go to admission and get a room, prepare everything and we will talk later”

I just nod while biting my lip, I’m in big trouble,, really  big trouble, otokke, I’m really afraid now, it’s not that he is not allowing me to have relationship but he have to meet him and approve him first and I said im fine with that but now, I don’t know..

After I prepare everything I went to operating room, wait and silently pray, I know he is in good hand my father is the one who perform the surgery but I’m still worried

2 hours pass and my father go out to the operating room

“How is he?” I ask him immediately

“Worried girlfriend?”

“Appa!”

“I’m just teasing you, he is ok, he is in the recovery room still under anesthesia, and we will transfer him after 1 hour to the room, I will leave now, go home tonight we will talk ok?”

“Can we postponed this interrogation?” hoping that I can escape this

“No and you know why” he is about to leave when he turn to me again “I think he is a nice guy, Introduce him properly when he is healthy and so don’t worry too much ok,,” and he wink at me

I think Maru sshi just got my father approval, I also think he is a nice guy appa and left the operating room happily

I’m reading magazine when the doors open, I saw Maru with 3 male nurses, and he is half awake half sleep, they transfer him to the bed and I immediately go beside him and hold his hand

“Maru yah, are you ok?” Im still worried even my father already assured me that the surgery is fine

He nod and smile at me “I’m ok” he said in his bedroom voice

The nurse gave instruction to me, he is not yet allowed to eat or drink until he is fully awake and no pillow for 8 hours, after the nurse left I return to the bedside

“Are you really ok? Can I leave now? Your maid is already here, she also inform you mother that you are here, she said she is coming,”

“You should rest too, but you will comeback right? You will visit me here? Hmm,,” it really showed that he is still under anesthesia but he keep on talking “when Im ok,, we will go out huh? We will go to our first date,, we will go to the beach, it’s my favorite place, I want you to be there with me and “ he cannot continue his sentence when sleep took him

He so cute trying to talking to me even he is sleepy “Arasso, im going out with you” and smile at him
