TIMING

Now for timing... This is going to be short, since there's not much to say here.

Don't keep your texts on for a long period of time.

It can make people bored and the impact will be lost.Of course, you don't want it so short that people are unable to read it. Unless that's your motive, then yeah. I usually put texts corresponding to the music or if you have a cinematic sound effect, then you can put it in between the songs. I can't really explain it, but you'll get it. Maybe.

This applies with video clips as well.

Here's an example of how long I usually keep my text & video clips.

Very short. Personally, long clips bore me. But I don't know if that applies to other people. Anyways, transition a lot and use different video clips.
