Dinner time III
Night School [Hiatus]
He went away with firm steps, listening the beat of his heels in the silence of the room.
Jungkook looked down at his empty plate, feeling the looks people sent to him . He blushed furiously. He entered two seconds after the hour! That man had no right to humiliate him in front of the whole school just because of that.
It was hard to believe him: just come to a new school and was already in trouble.
Looking for the nearest table, he saw that Suga was watching. Their eyes met and if fleetingly, with a roguish smile, the other guy blinked his eye, then continue talking and laughing as if nothing had happened. Jungkook saw a guy his cheek , then Suga rested his head on the others shoulder for a moment, laughing that something he said.
Jungkook felt both better and worse.
The other students on his table were entertained talking with each other, ignoring him - all except Jin, who looked worried.
- Who was that guy? - Jungkook asked, folding and unfolding the cloth napkin and trying to pretend that what happened didn't had so much importance.
- Mr. Kim - Jin answered - It's the history teacher. You had the chance to see that he suffers from lack of "warmth" . Consider him the school's guard . I wish I could say that you don't have to worry about, but the truth is you will not want it to take you 'high end'. He make your life ... difficult. If i was in your place, I would start to arrive ahead of time to eat during the meal times . He wil keep you in sight .
- Fantastic - Jungkook replied resignedly.
Dam luck i have , huh
The students around them began to leave their tables and leave. Jungkook saw that they all left the dishes and cups on the table.
- Don't we have to help cleaning the tables? - Asked, surprised.
The boys on one side and the other of Kidoh satrted to giggle.
Kidoh was amazed.
- Of course not. The staff deals with it.
Jungkook returned to face Jin, but the chair was empty. He was gone. He kept hearing giggles and whispers all around the table, deciding he'd had his amount for the day, got up without a word and joined the students on the way out.
He felt exhausted and defeated. At that moment, he would do everything to go to his oom listening to the MP3 player while sending written messages to Yano and J: Eta telling them about everyone he met that day.
But that world seemed now far from old fashioned and stuffy world of Cimmeria Academy, where the technology did not exist , and everyone was too spoiled to grab the dirty plate and leave it in the kitchen.
In the hallway, he saw that the students moved away in various directions. Some were leaving to outside while others were bound for the library. Each was with his group of friends, laughing and talking.
Alone, Jungkook climbed the stairs to the boys' dormitory.
