Yuri and Victoria's mother, Taeyeon (Kim Taeyeon), was a seamstress while their father, Wooyoung (Jang Wooyoung), went to America to work. While in Ameica, Wooyoung met and fell in love with a wealthy model and a fashion designer named "Tiffany Jung" (Hwang Mi-young). When Wooyoung went back to South Korea, Taeyeon got very angry at him because he never replied to her letters. Wooyoung explained the situation and Taeyeon just set him free to his new woman. Soon, Wooyoung decided to leave his wife and children to live with Tiffany. Yuri and Victoria witnessed Wooyoung and Tiffany hugging; this led to a confrontation between Victoria and Tiffany where she pushed and injured Victoria. In tears, Victoria returned home and showed her wounded arm to her mother and later, Taeyeon went to Tiffany's house to confront her but Tiffany avoided her. As Tiffany drove away, Taeyeon was accidentally hit and killed by an oncoming vehicle; Victoria was there to witness the tragedy unfold. Victoria confronted Tiffany that resulted in her miscarriage leaving her unable to have children. This cemented the feud between the two.

Orphaned and on the run from people trying to place them into an orphanage, Yuri and Victoria lived on streets. Yuri soon gets sick from eating garbage and was rushed to the hospital by her older sister, Victoria. To earn money, the 15-year-old Victoria worked as a e. One day, she returned to the hospital only to see that it was on fire, with her sister nowhere to be found and most likely dead. As it turns out, Yuri was actually kidnapped by men who made children work as beggars on the streets. This is where Yuri became friends with a little boy, "Khun" (the future Nichkhun), who was also a captive. Devastated and alone, Victoria was adopted by Hwang Kwanghee, a famous fashion designer. She was renamed "Hwang Qian" and was sent to America to study Fashion and became a supermodel.

Yuri was adopted by a couple in the textile district of Seoul, Gangnam and renamed her "Choi Anna". She continues both her and her sister's dreams of becoming top Korean designers. Since she doesn't remember much about her childhood she aspires to be a junior designer at Tiffany Corporation, Tiffany Jung's fashion industry. Hwang Qian arrives back from California,USA to start her revenge. She wants to steal Tiffany's place as the "Queen of Korean Fashion" and tries to take over Tiffany's company; all in the name of keeping her and her sister's dreams alive. But what will happen if the budding designer, Anna and the new queen of fashion, Qian, clash?  Will Tiffany use this opportunity to topple down the sisters by using the man they both love, Nichkhun? Tiffany's business schemes to place herself again as the fashion queen but in the end, the sisters will prove that blood is always thicker than water and only forgiveness could heal all the wounds of the past.
