Foreword
Living in Korea wasn't anything that Astrid was expecting. She expected everyone to welcome her since she always saw Korea as happy place..
"Hello, I'm Astrid." She greeted perfectly in Korean.
The teacher motioned to where her seat was, and as she passed by students, she overheard..
"What's a forigner doing here on our land?"
"Does she think she's cool?"
"I hope she doesn't sit with us at lunch."
Astrid suddenly felt like a heavy anchor. It was obvious no one would accept her here, just because she was from the States. Already she was being talked about. By the time she wrote her name down on the paper in front of her, she would be known school-wide as The Girl From The States.
During history class, a handsome teacher by the name of Mr. Lee walks in. The girls around giggled and whispered.
"I see we have a new student, right?" he asked while looking around for an unfamiliar face.
Astrid slowly rose her hand. "Me."
"And what is your name?"
"Astrid...Silverson Astrid."
"Well, Astrid, I hope you learn a lot of things her at Sung Ju High School."
"Thank you...Mr. Lee."
Yes, I know! I'm very bad a descriptions! Oh well haha.
