Soft, fragile swings brushed the tips of green fronds. A tiny shape bobbed in the breeze, sheltering from the cruel north wind as it ducked beneath flowers and patches of grass.

Strayed too far from home, much too far. Family vanished, gone, scattered. Where is this?

The cold was too much, with a final flutter, the butterfly dropped to the ground, weak and lifeless. A desperate prayer coming from its heart, it let out a finally beat its wings strongly for one last time, flying towards the life.
