We became friends after that. Not close friends, just friends. Sara told me that I shouldn’t be friends with him to begin with. Apparently, he had a reputation of being a total player. A slacker is what the teachers would call him. Hansol was a complex person. He was cool, nice, kind, but lazy. He also spoke his mind. Sometimes that got him into trouble. He doesn’t think about his words at all. There is no filter in his brain. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him afraid. He was a risk taker.   Sara cannot stand him. Then again,Sara hates a lot of people. She’s a perfectionist. She gets straight A’s, she’s very outspoken, bossy, and has a very good head on her shoulders. Some people think she might be the first Female/Asian President. That’s her goal anyway. Of course, she would despise Hansol.   Me? I love to succeed, I get good grades, don’t cause trouble, keep to myself, and I hold my tongue. My parents bragged about me to their friends and co-workers, my family members are always proud of me. They call me the “Perfect daughter” and hope that I become a good role model to my 13 year old sister, Holly. They wanted to be successful and have a good name for themselves and they want the same thing for Holly and myself. Throughout my whole life, I did what I was told and did everything right. My parents wanted to change one thing about me. And that was Hansol. They wanted me to find a nice boy. They aren’t huge fans of Hansol. No one is. We were complete opposites.   S
