"Hyung, I can have any flavor I want, right?" Mir said with beaming eyes.

"Sure."

Mir gave him a big smile and continued looking at each barrel of ice cream. They didn't know the parlor had 50 flavors because approximately 15 were shown to the public. Of course there was a sign and everything, but no one took the time to read it.

"Okay, I made my decision!" said Mir happily.

"Great, I'll go find a place to sit."

Joon handed him the money and sat in a nearby booth. From where her was sitting Mir was smiling happily like a kid at a candy store. He noticed the cashier couldn't help but smile too. By this time he had a father-like smile on his face too. He knew Mir wasn't his son, but they're relationship was closer than others might think. Mir was a happy-go-lucky kid; only worrying about the people he truly cared about and somehow that made Joon enjoy life even more.   

Eventually, Mir came back with a bowl full of ice cream, ecstatic. Every time he came here his choice of flavors would change, so Joon was curios as to what he would try next.

"Aigoo~"

"So what flavor did you get this time?" asked Joon.

"Hyung, it's banana split! Can't you tell?" he whined.

"But there's no banana's." Joon chuckled.

"I don't like when they get all mushy. It's gross." Just at the thought of it, he began to cringe.

"Ah." Joon said, finally getting the picture.

"Hyung?"

"What is it?"

 "Don't you want any? Mir asked, taking in a mouthful of ice cream. Just in case, he handed an extra spoon to Joon and smiled.

"I guess so. I didn't have breakfast today."

Mir's P.O.V  

For a while we talked about meaningless things until Joon-hyung started laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked, clueless to what was going on.

"I can't believe we did all this today. I mean I barely go out on a Saturday!"

"Well, you guys never do anything; just sit around. I don't want you guys to lay around like old men!" I said. "You guys also look so bored too. It may seem like I want to go everywhere all the time, but its really just to make sure you guys stay happy too."

I saw a smile creep onto Joon's face and I instantly felt uncomfortable.

Was I too blunt? Now that I think about it, that did sound a little embarrassing to say, huh?

"It must be hard being the maknae."

"I guess you could say that. But at least everyone thinks we're super cute!" I smiled, showing a peace sign.

"Wait a second."

"What?"

"You think of us as old men?!" He gasped, with an exaggerated expression of hurt.

"Sometimes." I smiled. "But don't worry. It's not as bad as I make it sound."

"Really? It's kind of hard to tell with that look on your face."

"What look?" I said; examining his face for any clues.

"That look! No one naturally smiles like that!" he said, pointing to my now blushing face.

"Aish, I'm going to get some more ice cream to eat away my pain." I muttered.

I quickly pull the hood over my head and purchased more ice cream. Since it was hyung's treat I was going to make him suffer. I mean what does he mean by no one naturally smiles like this!? Is there something wrong with my smile? Is is abnormal? Sometimes that guy gives me a headache.

While I was waiting for my ice cream I looked over one more time and he waved at me with a smug look on his face.

He's doing this on purpose! Maybe he's getting back at me for calling me an old man... Though, I can't understand one thing. Throughout all his teasing I still couldn't help but sneak in a smile while walking up here. Now he's really giving me a headache.

After I got my ice cream I held it protectively while walking to my seat. I gave him a displeased look and grumbled.

"I'm not sharing."

"You know I was just kidding, right?"

"I. Don't. Care."

I was actually kinda okay with it, but I just wanted to play around a little like a maknae should.

Sorry hyung.

"But you know I'm just kidding, right?" he asked, looking somewhat serious about my feelings. "There's nothing that weird about you're smile."

"You know hyung," I said with an equally serious face. "If you tease me too much I'll cry."

I instantly put on a sad face, showing the imaginary tears coming from my eyes.

Instead of apologizing, Joon laughed at me. Laughed! I'm glad he's having fun and all, but does it have to be at my expense...

I silently finished my third bowl of ice cream and we headed back to the dorm. When we got there the place was completely deserted. No one was home, so Joon and I went to put our things away.

"Where do you think they went?" I asked.

"Grocery shopping, perhaps?" I walked over to the fridge where we left our original note and right beside was another.

"What a conceited leader." I muttered, handing the note to Joon.

"Oh, so I was right," Joon said to himself.

"Seems so. What are we gonna do now?! I always get bored easily in the dorm!"

"I going to nap, but you could watch a movie or something." He shrugged.

Is he serious? He going to leave me alone while he naps?

"Okay, hyung. Sweet dreams!" I smiled.

On the outside I was rainbows and unicorns, but on the inside I was ticking time bomb.
