▐ Introduction

Ever since little Jessica was born she was adored by her loving parents. They were delighted when she was born and together they were the happiest family. Until one day Jessica’s mother died tragically in a car accident, Jessica was only ten years old at the time and her and her father were devastated. Nevertheless her father swore that Jessica would have a bright and happy future as that would be what her mother wanted so together they bonded even more. 

Jessica loved her father dearly and at the age of fifteen he fell shockingly ill with cancer.

Her father was determined to keep his promise with his wife to keep Jessica happy, he knew if he did not remarry their daughter would not grow up in a family orientated environment and would have to go into care. Determined to find a new wife he met Tracy with her daughters Sunny and Yoona who was willing to marry him because she knew he was on his deathbed and his money from his companies would go straight to her. 

Tracy, Sunny and Yoona acted friendly and nice until Jessica’s father died two years later when she was seventeen. Jessica’s world turned upside down as she was now an outsider to the family, viewed at a little mouse who was apart of a deal in return of money. 

Working as a cleaner at the house instead of a step daughter or sister she worked day and night caring for her evil step mother and daughters even though they clearly had enough money to hired dozens of other maids. 

They lavished on the finest food, the softest silk and the most shimmering diamonds all living in a beautiful mansion, but Jessica? She was only allowed the small room in the attatick with it’s dust harboured surfaces and insects crawl king through the cracks of the wood. 

Her mother turned her fathers proud business company into a string of over glamourised boutiques. She hated seeing her fathers hard work thrown away but she could not do anything, her step mother had all the rights.

High school wasn’t a get away. She was the new girl- a nobody. Often teased and made nasty comments to and other times she would slip away unnoticed like a ghost wondering the halls. The kind of girl you would of been in class years with but once you asked simply for her name? It would be simply impossible to name. 

On the other hand there was Kyuhyun. He, was mr popular. Girls swooned at his feet but he would constantly reject them. You could say he was reserved and mysterious but one with a charming aura which surrounded him.

 Ever since Jessica joined SM High School she had a little crush on him but she was nothing…

A nobody.
