I tried to scream, but my throat was clamped shut.

I pulled my pillow over my face.

I kick wildly with my feet.

That was my alarm clock hitting the floor. I was at home in bed and this evil red thing was trying to kill me! And then I realized it was a dream. The SAME dream that I always had! 

 I sat up, wiped the sweat from my face, and flicked on my light. I looked around my room. It was perfectly normal. There was no one in it except me. No red bodied killer, no slashing knife, NOTHING!

It was about the weird red clown puppet that someone sent me for my birthday and if you think that puppets are cute, harmless toys, THINK AGAIN. I'm frightened of them, ever since my encounter with a puppet that was ALIVE AND DANGEROUS! It all started the day after my sixteen birthday. I opened our front door early in the morning because I'd heard a loud noice like something being dropped. There was a massive parcel outside. I looked around but nobody was to seen. I carried it back into the house, wondering who could have sent me such a huge present.

My parents were sleeping in so I took the parcel to my room and opened it. There was an envelope in the box with no name on it, and beside it was a big puppet that resembled a clown. It was wearing a red clown nose. I couldn't stop laughing. It looked r
