Foreword
Right above the double glass doors, there’s a name spelled in sparkly light bulbs. Not just any name, but the name of one of the greatest music phenomena currently alive. Well, it would’ve been if the singer would’ve had a better voice. For now, the thing that keeps drawing people in, is the mystery surrounding the figure known as Hades.
“You sure you don’t want to come with me?” Youngbae asks. Daesung shakes his head.
“I can’t. I have other obligations.”
“Obligations?” Youngbae frowns.
“Yes,” the other sighs.
“I told you I have a new job.”
“Ah, right.” Youngbae remembers. How could he have forgotten? He’s been bugging Daesung for months because of it.
“I still don’t get how you got it; you’re not even as big a fan as I am.”
Daesung looks at his friend whose eyes are focused on the huge poster with his favourite idol again.
“It’s not like the application said it was a necessity,” the younger of the two replies, accompanied by yet another sigh. He then reaches for his cell phone to check the time.
“I should be going,” he says as he pushes it back into his side pocket.
“You have fun tonight.”
Youngbae nods once as he watches his friend head to the side of the building where the artist’s entrance is. As his eyes shoot back to the poster, he gets a tingly feeling in his stomach.
“Hmm… That’s odd,” he mutters to himself.
“I have the strangest feeling tonight will change everything.”
