Chapter 2: Him, again
10 Days With You [HIATUS]
[3rd Person's POV]
It's already 9 in the morning.
Eunji got up when she woke up.
She looked at the calendar to see what the date today is.
"Oh, it's Monday." she mumbled then she stretch her body.
She scratched her head and was about to go the bathroom when she stopped and thought of something.
"Wait, Monday?!" she immediately ran towards her drawer on the bedside to check the time at her clock.
"9am?! My shift is 8am! Oh no! I'm late!" she shouted quietly.
She quickly took a shower then got dressed, and then she ate her breakfast and brushed her teeth.
She went outside and locked the door.
She ran towards the bus stop. When the bus was arrived at bus stop, she quickly rode inside.
[Eunji's POV]
I quickly got out of the bus and run faster.
I can't be late! It's my first shift today. Oh no! What if, they fire me?
Ahh! No way!
When I almost near at the restaurant where I work, I suddenly bumped something or maybe someone.
"Ouch!" I shouted.
Ouch! My hurts! Huhu!
"Oh! I'm so sorry miss!" then he helped me to stand up.
I looked up and...
heyy... I know him.
"You?!" we both exclaimed.
It's him again. =_= Is he following me or something?
Yeah, he's the guy at the library and at the park.
"Oh, sorry." he said.
"That's ok, I should go now. I'm going to be late at my work." I said and ran quickly.
He shouted but I didn't heard what he said, I just ignored it.
I entered to the restaurant and saw Daehyun. I approached him quickly and he noticed me.
"Oh? Eunji-ah, you're late." he said.
"Yeah I know. Where's the manager?" I asked.
"Why do you looking for him?"
"I have to apologize because I'm late and I can't be fired!" I answered continuously.
"Eh? You can't be fired today, you pabo." he said.
"What? But, why?"
"Don't you remember what I said before? My dad is the owner of this restaurant, I and my father are the only one who could fire a worker here at the restaurant." he explained.
"Oh... sorry, I don't know that. So, you won't fire me?"
"Of course I won't fire you. You need this job right?"
I just nodded.
Pheww! I thought I could get fired.
"Go to the changing room now and wear this." he said and handed me a waiter uniform.
I went to the changing room and changed my clothes into a waiter's uniform. After that, I went to the kitchen. He gives a me sign that I should go to take the orders of the costumers.

I'm really exhausted.
I was sitting at a chair in the kitchen. It's almost late at night. I'm really tired. My feet and hands are aching.
"You did a good job Eunji-ssi!" he said.
"Should I go home now?" I asked.
"Let's have some tea first before you go so you have energy to walk home." he offered.
I nodded. He grabbed the two cups and poured the tea on it. He gave the other cup of tea and I accepted it.
"Thanks." I mouthed and took a sip.
Silence filled the kitchen.
I want to speak to break the silence but, I'm tired. After some few moments, Daehyun spoke.
"Eunji-ah, do you have a boyfriend before?" he asked.
I almost spit out my tea. I looked at him. He was looking forward where he was facing the window.
"Uh, none. I never thought of that before. Why did you ask that?" I answered and asked.
"Nothing. I just want to know." he said and smiled at me.
"You may go home now." he said and took my empty cup.
"Oh, okay. See you tomorrow Daehyun-ssi." I said and headed out of the restaurant.

[Sunggyu's POV]
"That's ok, I should go now. I'm going to be late at my work." she said and ran away.
"Hey! Wait! What's your name?!" I shouted but she didn't hear.
Aissh! I really want to know her name.
*sigh* I ask her later when I see her.
I walked off and went to the library.
I greeted the librarian as I entered inside. I was about to go towards to the bookshelves when a light bulb appeared on top of my head.
Ah-ha! Maybe the librarian knows her name.
I quickly took a step towards the direction of the librarian.
She looked at me when I was standing in front of her.
"Do you need something Sunggyu-ssi?" the librarian asked.
"Noona, do you know what's the name of the girl who came here before? A girl with long bangs below her eyebrow, with an eye smile, and small nose?"
"Oh.. Eunji? With a short height?"
"Yes."
"Her name is Eunji. Jung Eunji. Why? Are you interested on her?"
I scratched the back of my neck.
Err.. Should I say it?
"Err.. yeah." I answered.
"Oh I see." then she smiled.
"Uh, I should read books now." I said and walked towards the bookshelves again.
So, her name is Eunji. What a lovely name.
I wish we meet again.

[Eunji's POV]
I was standing beside the street, waiting for the bus to come.
I took a glance at my watch. It's already 9 in the evening.
Aissh! Where's that bus?!
I looked around. There's no bus to be found right now.
Aissh!! I guess I should walk home.
When I was about to walk, someone called me by my name.
"Eunji-ah!"
I looked behind. I can't see his face because it's dark.
It was a guy with his bike approaching me. I stared at him when he stopped near me.
Heyy! It's him again! How did he know my name?
"How did you know my name?" I asked.
He scratched the back of his head and smiled awkwardly.
"I... asked the librarian." he answered.
"You.. What?"
"I asked the librarian." he repeated.
"Huh? But why you had to ask my name? I don't even know you." I asked.
He lowered his head for a moment and lifted it.
"I just want be your friend." he said.
So..... That’s it?
I don't know why feel like.... disappointed?
"Uh... is that it?" I asked.
His facial expression changed from shy into a confused look.
Did I say something?
"What do you mean?" he asked.
I laugh awkwardly.
"Ah... he-he... I mean, is that what you like to say? Because I should go home by now and it's already late." I know it's not what I mean. But I don't know what I really want him to say.
"Oh sorry. Can I ask you one question?" he asked.
"Sure. What is it?"
"Where do you work?"
"Uh, in a small restaurant near at the park. Why? Do you want to work there too?"
"Ani. I'm just asking. Uh, you should go home now." he said and walked away.
So... why did he ask that?
Ah, never mind that.
I turn behind and walked away.

[Sunggyu's POV]
I really can't stop thinking her name even though I was reading. I really want to see her again.
I was beside the dark street, biking home.
I stopped for a moment. I saw a girl standing beside the bus stop. That girl is familiar. Is it Eunji?
She walked away so I called her by her name.
"Eunji-ah!" I shouted as I walking towards her with my bike.
She stopped walking and looked behind.
I stopped in front of her.
"How did you know my name?" she asked.
I scratched the back of my head and smiled awkwardly.
"I... asked the librarian." I answered.
"You... what?"
Is she having problems on her ears?
"I asked the librarian." I repeated.
"Huh? But why you had to ask my name? I don't even know you." She asked.
Err... should I say that I'm interested with her?
If I say it, maybe she will think that I'm a stalker.
I lowered my head for a moment and lifted it.
"I just want be your friend." I said which is a lie.
"Uh... is that it?" she asked.
Why she looks disappointed? Did I say something wrong?
"What do you mean?" I asked.
She laughs awkwardly.
"Ah... he-he... I mean, is that what you like to say? Because I should go home by now and it's already late."
"Oh sorry. Can I ask you one question?" I asked.
"Sure. What is it?"
"Where do you work?"
Ok, I want to know where she works because I want to see her.
"Uh, in a small restaurant near at the park. Why? Do you want to work there too?"
"Ani. I'm just asking. Uh, you should go home now." I said and walked away.
Yes! I finally see her!
I stopped suddenly.
It's already late and there's no bus coming. I should accompany her.
I looked around and called her again.
"Eunji-ah!!" I shouted and she looked back.
I bike towards her.
"Ride on my bike. I'll take you home."
"Uh.. No need. I can walk home."
"I just want to accompany you. It's already late; there's might be a criminal somewhere."
She widened her small eyes slightly and rode on my bike.
I started to move the bike's pedal. She holds both of my shoulder with her both hand so that she won't fall.
My heart beats fast when she holds my shoulder. I suddenly smiled.
She was pointing the directions to her home.
"Stop right there, at the yellow gate." she said as she pointing to the right side.
I stopped in front of the yellow gate then she jumped out of my bike.
"Uhm, thank you for the ride." she said and I smiled.
"You're welcome. I should go now. Bye." I said.
"Bye." She said and walked inside.
I smiled suddenly. I think I like her.
