Foreword
Choi Minho’s first impression of Kim Kibum was that he was a typical fashionista, who really didn’t give a whether you thought of him as a or not.
Minho was interested but decided to stay away, failing to find a way to approach him. Kibum was all things opposite of him. Minho couldn’t stand shopping, or gossiping, or nagging which seemed to all be at the top Kibum’s list of ‘things to do’. Kibum didn’t seem to need him much either, always with Jonghyun or out with other idols. Kibum just didn’t seem to have a time or a place for him.
They just didn’t fit.
It wasn’t that Minho liked silence. Sure, it was comforting and left him in peace but he would be grateful for conversation every now and then. He didn’t talk much simply because there was nothing to talk about, at least with Kibum and so they often succumbed to silence when put together. He knew Kibum detested this and so he tried to avoid being a bother and stayed away from him altogether. He and Kibum were like water and oil.
They were just that different.
