At first glance, he's menacing, standing a good head taller than everyone near. Intense eyes draw cold shivers and goosebumps form on the surface of heating skin. He's the man your mother shields you from, and the nameless person your friends warn of. He's unique,

and he is a lie.

Foreword

Wu Yi Fan has many names. He doesn't mind any, and will respond to all. Even the less than flattering titles. Due to his gigantic stature, and intimidating appearance, he doesn't have many friends, but everyone knows of him.

You're an average girl. Your face is the one that blends with all the others. You aren't special. You aren't infamous. You're simple, and nobody knows who you are. You're the one that will be the person everybody and anybody wants you to be.

Wu Yi Fan, or more popularly referred to as Kris, attends your college. You know who he is, you can recognize him in a crowd, and you could easily pinpoint the sound of his deep, accented voice, but you don't know anything about him.

Kris, however, knows plenty about you.

You plan on figuring out exactly what makes the towering Chinese man a target of scrutiny. You also plan on figuring out just how those cold eyes can appear so sadly welcoming.
