I came to school earlier like I always do and loafing around the bench that had been built not too far from the toilets. I was about to head into class and walked past the toilet but then I heard someone mention about my name

“Ilhoon-ah, Jung Ilhoon starting from today I will try my best to approach you and make you notice me” that voice said. I chuckled at her statement. Is it really important for me to notice her? I stayed to hear what she’s going to say next

“Soo Bin!! Hwaiting!! You can do it! Let’s make Ilhoon fall for your charms!” 

Soo Bin huh? I chuckled again at her mentioning about falling for her charms and I had this thought that this girl is something and of course, I knew who she is. She is one of my classmates. People tend to see me as a cold person who didn’t took notice of what happen at my surrounding but they are wrong because they didn’t made an effort to know me better.  All they know, I am a rich son and tend to try to use me so I gave them a cold shoulder and from then on, I had trust issues. However, in class Soo Bin always made my life fill with some joys.  With her lame jokes trying to lit the class mood and her smile that want to make other people to smile along with her. I didn’t know Soo Bin would want to approach me but the problem is, is she trying to approach me with a good intention or bad? 

I snapped the thoughts and quickly went for my class but when I walked past Soo Bin, I couldn’t help but smile about what she had said earlier. Then, I tried to cover myself from smiling afraid people might thought I am crazy. I saw Soo Bin banged her forehead onto the table and looked at me. Aish! This girl always makes me want to laugh. During classes, I tend to listen to my song on my mp4 it is like a daily routine because music sometimes are human’s best friend right? From time to time, I would look out the window then couldn’t help myself but looked at Soo Bin. When 3^rd period end, I quickly took my stuff with me before the hallway fill with crowd. I preferred to be alone during recess time. After recess end, when I was about to walk in my class I heard they were whispering and mumbling about Soo Bin tried to give me a meal box but I ignored her? Huh? She did? Oh no! Maybe because I had my earpiece on and my music was too loud that I didn’t heard her. Now, I felt guilty. Ever since then, I would always receive meal box on my desk. Thus, I assume it must be from her. The meal would always be in a cute arrangement like there was one day she tried to make my face and sometimes I secretly watched her putting the meal on my desk. Furthermore, this girl made me miss my old life like when my family situation was in an average life. During those times, my mom got ton of times to prepare me meal box to bring to school but, my life right now is different now. My parents started to love working than spending time with me.  

Back to Soo Bin, I liked her effort and appreciated her feeling so I decided to let her in my life, open up to her as a friend or maybe more? I don’t know. Today is the day, I would talk to her. When I entered class I smiled at the item I saw on my desk, it’s her meal box again. Its recess time, I was about to walk to her but my leg just won’t listen to me and brought me to the usual place I loafed around a lot. Suddenly, a girl which I assume is a fan girl walked to me and handed me a meal box. I was taken aback and was about to reject but she took my meal away which I had ate half of it and she opened her meal for me before she walked away. Sighed, I ate them since it would be a waste. I left the meal box there and walked back to class. Not longer than that, the girl appeared again

“Thank you Ilhoon oppa for the delicious food” She handed me the meal box. I looked at the girl then I slightly bow to the girl, trying not to be rude to her and took the meal box. After that, I looked at Soo Bin, she had this sorrow look in her eyes which made me feeling somewhat sorrow. During the entire classes, I couldn’t help but notice Soo Bin. She was distracted and I could see she wrote something on her note. Last period, Miss Eun Hye, our ethic teacher walked in and started to teach however, she saw Soo Bin was not listening to her class. Gradually, she walked to her and took away her notebook. I could see Soo Bin was shocked and she was begging Miss Eun Hye not to read it out but was too late

“Ilhoon a pabo?”

“Why can’t you appreciate what I trying to do for you?”

“Ilhoon jerk?”

I was taken aback when Miss Eun Hye read out loud the word Soo Bin had written. Our classmates started to look at me then at Soo Bin and they laughed but some weren’t. At least, I know she must have been hurt of what happened earlier, I had hurt someone that I wanted to be in my life. When she looked at me, I gave her a small smile yet fill with guiltiness then she buried her face in her arm on the table hiding from embarrassing.

It’s the end of classes, I saw Soo Bin purposely packed her stuff slowly wanted to be the last one to get out of class. I waited her outside the class and heard her whined about me. When she walked out the class, she didn’t realize I was there then I decided to follow her from behind. I chuckled at her adorableness and thought again this girl is really something special. We were getting close to outside then my heart whispered to me

“It’s now or never, Ilhoon”

At first, my foot were hesitated but then, I thought I need to know this girl more so I gathered my courage and walked beside her

“Come along” I whispered then quickly walked away because my heart beat intensely and it is because this is my first time talked to a girl besides my female relatives. I decided to treat her at a restaurant that I go daily. I walked but then I realized she wasn’t following me behind so I decided to walk back and saw her expression, confused. I couldn’t help but chuckled

“Yah pabo! Follow me” I said to revenge what she had called me ‘pabo’ earlier.

It took 15 minutes to arrive at the restaurant and I could see she was amazed by the inner design fill with colourful colour and fill with picture on the walls.

“I’ll treat you since you had brought me the meal and repay for the earlier meal that had been took away from me earlier by the girl” I said, smiling. Shocked, her eyes were widen because I said to her that I knew she brought me the meal

“H-how did you know?” she stammered

“Secret” I said and smiled at how she was curious about it.

Like I had said earlier, people sees me as a cold person but if they made an effort maybe they will see I’m just a normal person that wanted to talk so much, that want to get more friends and let them know how I feel but for now, I’m letting Soo Bin be the first person.
