Foreword
My love is activated
I go crazy from your stare, action, speech
Your arrogant, conceited attitude
My heart feels like it’ll explode
The plane landed slowly, and I felt myself become nervous. My hands began to sweat and my heart felt as if any moment it might burst through my chest. Worries flooded my mind. I hadn't seen Taemin in 5 years. Would he look the same? Would he recognize me? Would his friends like me? Was he even here, at the airport, waiting for me? Was this a dream?
I breathed deeply and shut my eyes, trying to calm myself down. The flight attendent came on the speaker. "We are now landing." She continued speaking but I tuned her out, thinking about what I would do when I saw him.
As people exited, I waited to leave last. I needed to calm down before I exited the plane. "Ma'am, you may exit now."
I nodded, noticing that I had waited a little to long. I ran off the plane, walking down the long and narrow hallway leading to the waiting areas. I closed my eyes and walked through, slowly and steadily, hoping that I looked okay. I messed with my hair, moving stray strands over and over until I was sure it looked okay.
I breathed deeply, and walked through the door. I looked around quickly, seeing hundreds of people. I looked for Taemin. My eyes searched frantically. I couldn't see him anywhere. I gulped and bit my lip. Did he not come?
My gaze found a group of people wearing scarfs and heavy jackets, so you could barely see their faces. That was unusual. It was the middle of summer, how could they wear that? But that wasn't the least of my worries. I walked around a bit, looking everywhere for Taemin. I didn't say his name, as I was sure that if I tried to speak, no words would come.
There was an old couple sitting down, staring at me, wide eyed. The lady coughed frantically and I hurried away. This wasn't the time for me to get sick, either. I finally sighed and sat down at a chair, giving up. Taemin was not here.
Suddenly I heard my name being called. I looked up quickly and saw one of the heavily dressed people come running toward me. He pulled off his scarf and I saw his face. It was Taemin.
