The bandage taped across my heart

Falls off,

Do you care?

Do you know?

I hold in the venom to myself,

And show a smile,

You can see through my heart,

But you never make a move to fix it.

You only cared 

When I gave you diamonds,

You turned away when I needed you most,

And you call this love?

When you can only hurt my wings,

You break me,

Hatreds fills me,

And we part.

Remembering all the pain,

I cry out in vain,

And beg for a better "love"

But it never came.

Only you linger.
