Happy Birthday

Tao took HyeMin’s hand and led her out of the house.

Not focusing on the tingling feeling she had at the touch of his skin she asked him:

“Where are we going?”

“Just… I’d like to go to the beach with you one last time before you move out from your room…”

HyeMin became silent. Yes, she was going to leave the house… But why did he have to remind her of that?

Pain shot through her heart. He didn’t know how much she loved him.

“Why are you so silent? You’re usually a chatterbox…”

His voice was weird. He sounded and acted way more nervous than she had ever saw him.

“Maybe I don’t talk because I don’t have anything to say…”

“You always have something to say…”

“I… I just don’t have right now…”

The sand felt so different than the first day they met. It was warmer because it was the sunset and not the middle of the night. It also felt softer but HyeMin couldn’t find a reason for that…

“I have a question… That day… I must have looked pathetic… Why did you came to see me… Why did you come to talk to me?”

“I don’t really know… Something was pushing me to… And you seemed so lost... And then we talked and I understood what was happening…”

“You understood? You mean you’ve loved someone who loved one of your friends?”

“I do.”

Tao couldn’t help but noticing the present. She hadn’t told “I did” but “I do”.

Did she love SuHo or, even worse, BaekHyun? He couldn’t help but feeling more nervous.

“We should head back home it’s already late…”

“The night has just fallen… We have time…”

“We have to get back home… Come on”

The walk back was silent. Tao didn’t know what to talk about because he was now afraid of her answers.

HyeMin didn’t want to talk either. She didn’t want to part from all the pack and the girls and she was perfectly aware that all their talk was now centered on her leaving… She didn’t want to talk about this on her birthday.

When they arrived on the front door a paper was waiting for them. The girl read it.

“Come to the attic.”

When they arrived there, the pack and Yina and Ara were waiting for them.

“Happy birthday…”

There, in the middle of what was Tao’s wushu room, there was a table with cakes and drinks waiting for them. But it wasn’t that which hold her attention.

There, on the back of the room, there was a double sofa bed with a ribbon.

“We know you like to come and watch this crazy panda practicing wushu…” began Ara, a huge smile plastered on her face.

“And we also know that the floor is incredibly uncomfortable…” SuHo added.

“And since you’re leaving us soon we thought it would be great if you had somewhere to crash in if you couldn’t go home after a party… …” BaekHyun told.

“You will even be able to come with your boyfriend; it’s a double sized bed…” Yina giggled.

HyeMin couldn’t help but look at Tao.

“It doesn’t bother you? Really?”

The young man didn’t know what to answer. Sure it didn’t bother him to have a place for her in his room.

But at the same time, imagining her with a boy on his room did bother him.

Right now he just wanted to take her bridal style and snuggle with her on the sofa. He wanted to feel her soft hair on his cheek. He wanted to smell her perfume on her skin. Holding it in he just answered:

“No, of course not, silly… Just enjoy your party now!”

So here you go... It's NOT the last chapter! I'm writing it tonight so it'll be out sooner or later but definitely tonight!

I've had quite a hard time in general but also becouse I couldn't write somehow so I'm working on it. I'm doing my best because I don't want to write crappy love stories for some of the members!

So... yeah I'll be back with another chapter tonight!
