The Prestige is a different breed of fanfiction. Instead of a compelling story with an end, the Prestige is similar to a soap oprea. Each story or episode will deal with personal struggles that each character faces. Wheather, its , suicide, drug abuse, , domestic violence, or molestation, the Presige promises to keep readers on the of their feet.

Background of the School:

The Prestige of Arts School is the number one performing art school in the world, located in Canadian providence of the Yukon Territory. The school is split into two schools, the Prestige of Arts High school and the Prestige of Arts University. For one to attend the schools they first need to apply. Most students apply their 8^th grade year. Applicants go through rigorous amount of questions, and obstacles. If one can pass then they are accepted into the high school. Students have unlimited amount of tries to get into the high school, but they are only allowed to apply from eighth grade to ninth. If a student has finished their ninth grade year, then they are no longer allowed to apply to Prestige of Arts High School. Ten million children around the world apply but only ten-hundred get in and as of lately the number is decreasing tremendously. It is beginning to worry the Board immensely.

The Prestige of Arts University doesn’t allow any application. Once a student enters their senior at Prestige of Arts High School, they become hawked. Hawed is a when every teacher is watching a students’ actions. To be accepted into the Prestige of Arts University the student must be awarded a scholarship from their major’s master. A master is the head of the major only they can award a student a scholarship. For example, if a student is in the dance program and their dance master thinks they worked well, then that student will be awarded a scholarship to the Prestige University. Yes, a free ride into one of the best colleges in the world. What about the students who are not awarded a scholarship, well they do receive a diploma, but they will have to find another college to attend.

The schools have many different majors such as dance, art, theater, fashion design, culinary, and music. Music and theater are broken down to more specific majors. In music, engineering, vocals, and orchestra make up the three majors, whereas in the theater it’s broken down into acting, production, writing, and directing. Graduating from the Prestige of Arts University is basically a guarantee to a job in one’s major. Many people of those professions work as teacher or come by the school to help out. The Prestige of Arts University has a low graduating rate only because of the pressure. Only a few hundred actually get a degree in their major.

The Prestige may seem like it is only made up of elite students, who always follow the rules. Granted, it's a great school, but the board is forgetting its made up of teenagers who are on a quest to find themselves.
