It was a month after that incident. A month in which Eunhyuk had not come to school. A month of Kyuhyun pretending that he was in love with his girlfriend. A month in which he secretly craved to see Eunhyuk once again. A month of visiting Eunhyuk’s street in an attempt to just even get a glance of him. A month of seeing Sungmin, Minho and even Siwon entering the premises, being warmly welcomed by Heechul and Jaejoong, and then disappearing behind the fortresses of the young fashion executive and doctor, a privilege he knew he had long lost.

A month in which all the students started thinking that Eunhyuk will never return because he hadn’t for a month already.

…but there he was…but was it really him?

Gone were the blond hair and the fragile aura. Gone was the cute boy with gummy smiles. Walking towards the school gates was a young man, back straight, hair black and double cut, short on the side and longish in the middle which he had gelled to fall onto his forehead, giving him a rough edge.

The way he wore his uniform was cool, tie hanging a little lose on his neck, shirt tucked in front only behind a silver skull buckled belt, while the rest hung outside his pants which looked suspiciously tighter than it should for a school uniform. His jacket hugged his body in just the right ways, making for a slim body fit instead of the normally loose fit.

His shoes were black high tops and he walked with a bit of a swagger, hands in his pocket, headphones plugged into his ears and a bag slung on his back. He also wore a studded thin bracelet and somehow it all made him look all the hotter.

His body looked buffer and more ripped and his milky white skin was tanned. To say he looked different was an understatement and to say he looked good was just an underestimation.

Eunhyuk was walking down the hall to his lockers, nervous but doing a good job of showing that he didn’t care. He heard the whispers around him and he saw the fingers pointing at him and girls talking into their palms as their eyes stared at him. Who were they trying to kid by talking behind their hands like that.

It was so obvious.

And it was irritating him.

“You loser! What are you doing back here? Came for another round of fun?” a boy called out from the side and he recognized him as one of those that had bullied him before and had left him in the bathroom.
