But while the Korean citizens watched him on TV, dreaming about being able to even touch the Prince's shoe, there was one girl who looked at the TV screen with disgust.

Park Yoonhee hated the Prince.

The least she ever did was see his face on TV, considering her common and normal status. Not a word nor a meeting has been shared between them, but Yoonhee hated, hated the Prince.

To her, he was a no-good playing faker that probably ate cocky for breakfast and arrogant for lunch.

But one day, one of Baekhyun's friends comes over to her small house, giving her a choice of working as the Prince's personal secretary. Yoonhee atuomatically rejects the offer, spitting at the fact that one of the PRINCE'S FRIENDS had actually exchanged words with her.

Until she hears the deal. Money. Lots of money.

Thinking through the occupation that may be given to her, and also the salary that came with it, Yoonhee decides on the jackpot that anyone BUT her would bow down for.

She rides the private jet and flies five hours to the Seoul Palace.

But what happens when Prince Baekhyun finds Yoonhee's presence anything but bad?

And what happens when Yoonhee realizes that the royalty weren't anything like what she had expected them to be at all?

With an ancient, royal structure in a modern setting, 18-year-old Park Yoonhee finds herself living in the worst possible nightmare:

Park Yoonhee

Age 18

A bright, daring girl who isn't afraid to speak whatever she believes she can. She's thoughtful and quick-witted, but can be helpless sometimes, and needs someone to stay by her side at times like these. Her family consists of her mom and a 16 year-old little brother named Park Yunho. She is downright poor, with a run-down house and constant debts barely being paid. She works hard to try to help her family's financial problems, and is mature as a member of a family with hard times. No one will know how it's like to not have money better than her, which is one of the reasons why the royal family isn't much of a liking to Yoonhee. Especially the Prince, who seems nothing but a fake, cocky rich guy on TV to her eyes. She's not usually one to judge, but the royal family and the people of the Palace is an exception.

Byun Baekhyun

Age 20

The PRINCE of Korea. He was born into this position, and he was perfectly fit for it. He had the life that anyone would be jealous for, of course. But it was just a piece of the perfectness he was relishing in. His looks, his witty personality, and that smart and devious brain of his resulted in most of the whole nation's female population adoring him. But while on TV he was the perfect gentleman, that side of him quickly becomes covered when around in the Palace, where his childness takes over him. He and his friends are what you call a bunch of kids that just were born into perfect bodies. The flaws are actually in him, really, where he has hard times expressing what he truly feels in the right way at times. But little did anyone know that the Prince's hidden sides to him were able to be revealed because of one, small secretary.

Oh Sehun

Age 18

Yoonhee's close friend. He's the guy that takes care of her, helps her, advises her, and just stays by her side whenever he can. He's the type of guy that appears pretty serious on the outside but is actually a softy. His face looks like it was chiseled by an artist. A really, really talented one. Good looks, good grades, and good guts too--He actually likes Yoonhee.

Choi Sulli

Age 19

A genuinely bright, nice and caring girl with a pretty, cute face and personality. She's clueless to many things, but people see that as innocency. People who see her at once knows she's perfect, which is mainly why jealousy is common. She's known to be a girl always set up with Baekhyun's name, being a girl who was born into the royal scene as well. She likes Baekhyun and isn't one to hide it. When Yoonhee comes into the Palace, she is met with a wish to become best friends with her.

Park Chanyeol

Age 20

Baekhyun's bestie, even among the rest of the twelve EXO members. Not a second passes with this guy acting like a dork, either smiling real big or laughing a hearty laugh. The thing is, he's gorgeous, which makes him an attractive dork who smiles all day. So when he's mad, he's REALLY mad, because this guy's never mad. He has secret feelings for Sulli, but tries to keep it to himself since she likes Baekhyun.
