I poured myself a glass of beer. Taking a deep breath, I drank it all up before cringing at the horrible taste.

I hated the taste of beer and in normal circumstances, I would stay far, far away from it. But tonight, something happened that made me want to drink beer. I just wanted to get drunk and forget about everything.

The memory of seeing his arm wrapping around that girl’s waist flashed through my mind. Frustrated, I refilled my glass and chugged it down.

He used to be so sweet to me.

I shook my head, trying to shake that thought away. Suddenly, I felt the urge to look up. And I regretted doing that.

A few tables away, I see him laughing and chatting with his group of friends. The same unknown girl from three afternoons ago was sitting by his side.

Ji Hoon-ah, my inner voice called out, my Ji Hoon.

I quickly finished my beer and climbed off the bar stool. Without any hesitation, I made my way towards the stage.
