I’m sorry guys, but it’s the last chapter already T____T

For Super Junior M’s new album, Perfection, I was given the chance once again to make a song completely of my own creativeness. Needless to say, I was over the moon with it. I thought long and hard for every single details and with some helps from my friends in Berklee.

I started thinking of what kind of song I wanna write, and decided on a fun, up-beat song, about a guy who can’t get a girl off his mind.

‘WOOOO! Great song, Mochi! Nice job!’

I was interrupted while practicing for the song. I look up and saw Leeteuk-hyung standing at the doorway of my room with a huge grin on his face. He came in and sat down on the bed.

‘Why did you stop? Go on, I’ll just sit here and watch.’

‘But, hyung…it’s late. And you have an early schedule tomorrow, right? It’s okay, I can do it.’ I was a bit worried, as he doesn’t seem to have enough rest lately what with all the DJ-ing and MC-ing and what not that he’s been doing.

‘Nah~ I’ll be fine. So, tell me. Is there someone that you’re thinking of while writing this song?’ He looked at me with a penetrating gaze like the ones only mothers seem to have mastered.

‘Ha--ha…what are you talking about, hyung? I just write it thinking of the fans. You know, like a song for them?’ I answered without fully looking at him in the eyes.

‘I knew it! So, what’s her name? Huh? Do we know her? What’s she’s like? Where did you meet her?’ And the list of questions goes on and on that I feel like I’m being hit by a machine gun on automatic mode.

‘Hyung, hyung…chill. One at a time, okay? And it’s not what you think. There’s no one special. Just a childhood friend that I haven’t met for a long time.’

‘So, it’s a lost love? You poor boy~! D’aww…’

‘Hyunggg~~ stop it~’ I whined and puffed my cheeks out.

‘Aigoo~ you’re one cute mochi, you know that?’ He cooed while pinching my cheeks at the same time. I wonder why people love to do that to me. O.o

‘Alright, alright~ I’ll leave you alone, you lover boy! Good luck with the song, eh? And if you need help, just tell me, ok?’

‘Sure, hyung~ and thanks for the offer. I’ll surely get you back for it.’ I replied gratefully. It sort of reminds me of the time when we composed “All My Heart”.

And with that, I continued back to composing my solo song. It was fun when I finally got to record it in the studio for real, and I feel really proud with myself and satisfied, too.

At last, the song “Off My Mind” is completed. The choreography was great, my friend did it. I was getting nervous and excited waiting to perform it live for the first time.

The crowds went crazy when I perform the song live. They danced along to it and also managed to fanchant and sing along at some parts, too. I was happy with the response and feels that it all paid off watching them all supporting me and all.

My target next is to make more music as Super Junior M and spread my wings further to be a better musician and singer. I feel like shouting to the world, letting it off my mind, how wonderful I feel right now.

Thanks to my family, friends and of course, Strings and ELFs worldwide. I was able to smile widely and be proud, no longer feeling depressed that some people might call me off because honestly, I don’t care about them. Haters will always be haters, it’s in their nature, they couldn’t help it. Pity them, guys.
